I delayed purchasing my LAMY 2000 for years as well, simply because it wasn’t visually appealing to me. I finally purchased over a year ago and only regret waiting so long! It’s such a wonderful writer and I carry it my tote daily. Wonderful birthday haul. You are blessed!

I have the Lamy 2000 in the steel version with the ink window… it was a limited edition back in 2000… :D The ink window is so black that you can‘t really see the ink anyway and your pen looks much sleeker, I think. :) Oh, and I also had the same experience with the Lamy Crystal Agate ink… I have a bottle of it and only used it once or twice… such a shame.
aha, so it wasn't just me with the dry Lamy Agate experience then, such a shame coz for a grey ink, it's a lovely tone. Thank you so much for the birthday wishes and yes I'm quite chuffed with my haul. Pity about that ink window that doesn't really ink window 😅

They are truly lovely inks except the Agate, that is really dry lol. It's the Crazy horse grey and thank you for the birthday wishes 😀
