I was listening to a spotify made playlist and this randomly played just as I started journaling about a topic ive been putting off having with myself for a very long time. About my body and how i've felt so disgusted and frustrated with aspects of my physical self and as this song played faintly in the background i thought about how i have people around me who love me for me, despite all the things about me that the internet and society have told me are so unfavorable. i have people in my life who see past my height and teeth and skin and hair and have love for me. the song kinda helped cut through some of the self deprecating fog i live in daily. its an ongoing task to try to accept and love myself, but i want to and Im trying and i will try to see what my loved ones see in me. thank you gigi for creating an atmosphere to hold myself gently in for this moment in time. i hope i can continue to do so increasingly
