- The driver behind the blue Mini cooper is reportedly actress Anne Heche. She was seen in a video flying down a residential street before crashing into the home. CBSLA's Nicole Comstock reports from Mar Vista.

Yeah Somebody snapped a picture, and she freaked out and sped off in launch to car 50 feet in the air! What a dork! This was not an accident it was her choice to do this, an accident would be for tire fell off and she lost control, choosing to get hammered and going 150 down a residential street is a choice

Mar Vista is an affluent neighborhood, with average home prices of 1.2 million dollars. She probably would resent being called "poor," but this still was an extremely terrible situation, my heart goes out to her. I hope she can sue

I got two dogs from my dead mother-in-law and they are runners. If this happened to my house I would lose the dogs. I hope she can find a place with her pets.
I don't think it is tragic that AH ended up in the hospital. I think the tragedy is that a woman and her two dogs have lost everything and may be traumatized for life and the owner of that house will be dealing with this for many months to come all because of AH actions and decisions. Will AH take responsibility for it?
I hope she is charged and jailed. Its completely obvious from the CCTV footage of her going approx 60 to 80mph (estimate) down a suburban street with tires screeching that she was absolutely wreckless. She had no chance of stopping due to her grossly excessive speed and I hope she is sued for millions and millions. Stupid privileged woman, enjoy your downfall.

I also think the first crash, she was in I think she panicked because the dude was screaming out her and being very forceful, when you are a girl and a man is acting like that your first instinct is to run. Dailymail says right before Heche drove the car into the house that she was seen with a bottle of vodka. She probably won't get much of a punishment seeing Gascon is Los Angels District Attorney. I think at most Heche will get probation or house arrest in her mansion. Then it'll be off to rehab and going on TV again telling people about how she went to rehab and is a better person.

That's possible that she could have had another breakdown and tried to kill herself. It's sad for both Anne and the house owner. That is why we need funding for mental health; she has the money, but many don't. When and if she recovers, she will face not only criminal charges but a lawsuit as well, which will affect her getting roles. She is an actress, but first and foremost, she is a human being with problems. No one knows what goes on behind closed doors. As for the homeowner, I am thankful that she is alive, but she is traumatized, too, losing everything she had. It is sad all away around no matter how you look at it.
