Hi honey, I just want to give you one suggestion when you slice your potatoes if you’re going to use them right away leaving them in the colander is fine, but you have to pat them dry with a paper towel before you put them in the oil then they won’t spatter back at you like that oil did. If you’re not going to use them right away after you’ve cut them, put them in a bowl of cold water so they don’t turn color. Always always pat them dry with a paper towel before they touch oil.
