The Bikram footage is so great! Don't think I'll ever be able to go up and down without hands but will remember the tips and at least know it's possible!

Very cool clip of Bikram! He has total control of posture doing it so fast and over and over. WOW. Thank you for the detail explanations. Toe stand puts a lot of load on the knees. For those with knee issues, what are your suggestions? Just skip toe stand and stay in "Tree?'"

Yes…. Do NOT do Toe stand with any knee issues… so no modifications for that pose ….

The tree pose modifications are very helpful. I need to remember "two knees together from the side" so I get it right. Also, the Sanskrit lessons in these tutorials are an added bonus. Thanks Jimmy!

You're so welcome Jonathan!! I love to bring Sanskrit into the Yoga...the sound created a vibration that connects us to the ancient history !!!

Great instructions here, Jimmy! Love all the modifications you give too. There's no way we can break things down in this detail in any yoga class, so this is a handy breakdown for students to be mindful of next time they practice. 👍

thanks again for a super informative video. Still struggling a bit with my balance in toe stand but definitely getting there... I think my mistake is to lift up my gaze too soon: like you said in the video, balance first... so will think of that during my next practice.

Yes ...Everyone rushes to look in the mirror you have to find your balance first by setting your gaze on the floor to find balance then look up! Thanks for your comment Mel!

Make sure to find a spot on the floor and concentrate on that one exact spot… that should help! Thanks for watching 🙏🙏🙏

🤣 the other butt… so funny.

    Thanks Jimmy 🙏🏼
