I have this set up and was hoping you could tell me where i could find the heating element/stove type thing you use here? Also the saucepan you used? Thanks!
You have to pull the lever all the way down every time to have a consistent pour every time. Setup the volume at the desired quantity and pull down. if you dont, quantity depsoited wont be consistent
@@trufflymade I do pull the lever down all the way when I'm depositing. My question with the lever completely down was about the video when she's barely setting up the machine. Should you put the lever down to 0 every time you're done depositing and then start to clean the machine? Or does that not really make a difference?
I can promise you from experience I have purchased this unit and it will not deposit hard candy. It will clog up quickly even on the highest heat setting and low filling
@bigrhyd yeah, there are heating plates that surround the hopper to keep it warm. Also heating plate for the nozzles, although this gets in the way of seeing where you are depositing. I just remove this one and put it back on momentarily while I refill the hopper to keep it warm
@ perfect, thank you. I’m also wondering in terms of the molds, are they specific measurements? I’m looking for something that can dispense around 50g of a mixture into molds that look like small jelly bars. I have sourced molds already but not sure if they’d fit
Can you get different molds? Say for bars for example?
Holy crap the setup and cleanup are a nightmare.
Including setup and cleanup time, for small batches your speed would be faster hand depositing.

Why do you put the lever all the way down before you start another batch? I have this machine but have never done this step. What does it help with?
