Joey Eppard is still going like a fucking king in NY, usually "Joey Eppard and friends" his lyrics and songs are so top notch, I think he just keeps growing and growing without concern for the mainstream.
I walked into that concert with DT and Opeth when they were at about the 1:19 mark in this set. I wish I'd seen the rest, but that Amaze Disgrace outro was amazing.
Unbelievable. I once casually bought one of their albums (Wake Pig) in 2006 in a store in Italy. Since then they are one of my favorite bands. I really don't understand why these guys didn't gain more popularity.

The energy these guys have live is so awesome. I saw them at a super tiny venue, and they blew the top off the place. Still to this day one of the if not the best performances I have ever seen. Thanks 3! Are these guys still touring??
1:10:24 cameraman steps in to get a shot of the dual solo/drum battle and someone shouts “GET OUT OF THE WAY!” You do not get between a fan and their 3!!! But great show, one of the last ones with the Joe Stote. Was bummed when he left the band, it was JUST as I was getting into them and was lucky enough to catch a couple shows with him! The drum battle was of the truly greatest parts of the show…
I went to see Coheed and Cambria in Ft. Wayne last night, and Three opened for them. Let me say that they are amazing, definitely made many fans. Received a standing ovation. Excellent, kickass band!
Saw 3 when they opened for Porcupine Tree at Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, NC, and they are awesome. The End Is Begun CD with bonus DVD is more than great because also see them play live, and didn't buy CD until after seeing concert. After their performance the band was in the audience hanging out.
Is this band still together? I opened up for them in Rochester NY back in 2004 or 2005. They were great! They were the highlight of the night for sure 🙂
Bravo! This is how Music should be played...Dynamic's arrangements like these produce emotion on a Epic Scale! Thank you for posting this Masterpiece!..Applause!
the first time i heard 3: my friends and i went to a coheed and cambria show in 2005, and the opening act was 3. i was probably like 17 or 18, and i remember being so excited about coheed, and then 3 just came out of nowhere and was so amazingly good... the dual drum solo was probably the most amazing thing i had ever seen/heard at that point in my life :)
Same feeling I had and damn near the story of how I came across 3. They opened for coheed in 05 in stl at pops! Bought wake pig 5 times now....friends keep stealing it.
I saw them open for Coheed in 2006, they fucking brought the house down. The entire crowd was literally chanting "3" after their set. My friend and I were mainly there to see Coheed, but we ended up talking about 3 most of the time after the show.
Saw them in atlanta opening for dream theater with opeth, and between the buried and me. I'd never heard of them and I was a fan 2 bars into their first song!
So do I !!! The first time I saw Three on the Prog Nation tour, Joe was that one different element that made me stop and go wait a second, who are these guys??" I really wish they would bring him back. He added so much.
Aw man, so bummed this leaves off the performances of "Endless Alibi" and "Race The Light" that occurred between "Halloween" and "Trust." Excellent DVD though. Awesome to see and hear 3 with such clarity.
i am very grateful this video exists...absolutely amazing ive watched it like 12 times.. anychance of getting the times next to the songs in the setlist for easier navigation?
Yeah first time it came aroud it caught my eye. Pretty cool! You don't exprect a member of 3 being into that kind of stuff. Also note that this is 2006, Dillinger was a lote more extreme back then..
This is awesome, I have never been able to find any good live videos of a full 3 set. But one thing is odd though, the lyrics don't seem quite...right for some of the songs. Are these alternate versions or what? I know Eppard tends to change his arrangements around a lot but never the lyrics
I wonder what type of guitar that is that Billy is using. I think I read someplace it's a custom BC Rich 10 string, but the headstock certainly doesn't look like any BC Rich I've ever seen. Although, in all fairness I've never seen a 10 string BC Rich at all before either.
SUPER underrated band... opened for Dream Theater/Opeth ages ago and ruled. Been a fan ever since
Joey Eppard is still going like a fucking king in NY, usually "Joey Eppard and friends" his lyrics and songs are so top notch, I think he just keeps growing and growing without concern for the mainstream.
@@fatterpillar so good to know that he is still making quality music. A talent like his is too great to be held down.
check out the guitar players dad, Jimmy Eppard
I walked into that concert with DT and Opeth when they were at about the 1:19 mark in this set. I wish I'd seen the rest, but that Amaze Disgrace outro was amazing.
Criminally underrated

Much needed time stamps to this work of art. Some of these sound better than the studio recordings imo.
yooooooo
I know this guy
THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN HUGE!!!!!!! 😣😣😣😣💖
Saw them open for Porcupine Tree in DC. Dude blew my mind with the way he plays that acoustic.
What a dream lineup! I just saw Porcupine Tree in Denver. I only discovered this band tonight.
The energy these guys have live is so awesome. I saw them at a super tiny venue, and they blew the top off the place. Still to this day one of the if not the best performances I have ever seen. Thanks 3!

I just love this band and have for years. I can't help but feel alive while listening to them.
Hands down still one of my favorite bands ever.
I remember the day my friend got me high as fuck and showed me Alien Angel. My life was forever changed, for teh better.
I went to see Coheed and Cambria in Ft. Wayne last night, and Three opened for them. Let me say that they are amazing, definitely made many fans. Received a standing ovation. Excellent, kickass band!

Love the sound
I have never heard singing so clear while a band is also playing
yeah... thanks to whomever shot this. Justice done to the band with great sound to accompany the show. It's key.
One of my favorites. also the bass sounds good
Is this band still together? I opened up for them in Rochester NY back in 2004 or 2005. They were great! They were the highlight of the night for sure 🙂
I wish "THESE IRON BONES" was on this. Fucking 3. Love you dudes

Glad I saw them live back in 2008/2009, can't believe so much talent could be contained in one band, absolutely ridiculous
Excellent video. I ADORE Joey and TheBand3!
Just awesome!!!!!
I saw them open for Coheed in 2006, they fucking brought the house down. The entire crowd was literally chanting "3" after their set. My friend and I were mainly there to see Coheed, but we ended up talking about 3 most of the time after the show.
wow i remember seeing their music video for "alien angel" on tv back in the day and now that i am AWAKE i understand them.. fucking awesome
I saw them in Montreal in 2007, they were opening for Opeth. I was really impressed by their performance and I've been a fan ever since.
Saw them in atlanta opening for dream theater with opeth, and between the buried and me. I'd never heard of them and I was a fan 2 bars into their first song!
Such different lyrics for My Divided Falling! I like how it all turned out :-)
Wow.. I have to look for myself. I was there..lol
So do I !!! The first time I saw Three on the Prog Nation tour, Joe was that one different element that made me stop and go wait a second, who are these guys??" I really wish they would bring him back. He added so much.

amazing... so sad it only has 62 views and 3 likes
Such an incredible band.
Good One!!!
These guys Fucking rock.
outside of Prince, this is the best version of Purple Rain I've ever heard :-)...
also I love Joe and Chris in this... I'm so lucky I got to see them play together in Seattle. Joe is missed :-)
Was thinking about Joe Stote.@@maxine3650
Great ! =D
Wow, this is fucking great! Thanks for posting!!
awe some!!!!
127:30 for my own reference. Purple rain to anyone else. 😁
i am very grateful this video exists...absolutely amazing ive watched it like 12 times.. anychance of getting the times next to the songs in the setlist for easier navigation?
Mother of god
by saying that someone probably disliked just to spite you. good job
Yes! He was a mad man! lol
anyone else notice the dillinger shirt?
Yeah first time it came aroud it caught my eye. Pretty cool! You don't exprect a member of 3 being into that kind of stuff. Also note that this is 2006, Dillinger was a lote more extreme back then..
Fouter B I forget what year it was but Coheed and Cambria headlined a tour with Chiodos, Dillinger Escape Plan, and 3.
Max Heyboer what a dope and underappreciated headline for a tour
1:03:00 ish for about 20 min is the best part for me. What a show!
Do you remember how he'd dance while beating the maracas and tambourine on his chest? Seemed like he was always having a good time.
Fuckin epic
This is awesome, I have never been able to find any good live videos of a full 3 set.
But one thing is odd though, the lyrics don't seem quite...right for some of the songs. Are these alternate versions or what? I know Eppard tends to change his arrangements around a lot but never the lyrics
Some of the songs werent complete at this point.
I miss Joe Stote.
I wonder what type of guitar that is that Billy is using. I think I read someplace it's a custom BC Rich 10 string, but the headstock certainly doesn't look like any BC Rich I've ever seen. Although, in all fairness I've never seen a 10 string BC Rich at all before either.
15:30 for my own reference.
"Matt"
It's called a BC Rich Perfect 10 Bich.
He discusses it here:
/watch?v=5WjKJw8W048
the lead guitarist looks just like star burns...
Phil Collins covers are the best...
RIP Joe Stote
one dislike...probably a mistake.
Where did you get this dvd???????!!
anyone knows what about them or their leader?
This
:(
47:20 :'(
lol at 1:19:36
chiodos t lol
Singer needs some singing lessons for live music....like alot....they all do
I will fight you.
I love their album stuff, but I think Joey Eppard can't sing the songs that well live.
Is that a joke? He doesn't miss a note for the most part
@@chrilborn4138 More like he misses every note lmao
you don't go to enough live shows
