I cannot believe they actually added a NG+ - Originally, they were not even planning on it but bc the community suggested it and Bend aded it! I will FOREVER be a fan of BEND and ALWAYS support them on any new projects! That was so amazing of them! I cannot wait to play DG again! (now I gotta wait for the update to finishing downloading lol)

+1 - This is one of the only games I have seen in a LONG ASS time where the reviews were not very good at all and were SO WRONG! - none of the reviewers played thru enough of the game to really see what it was all about. It's got one of the best stories in gaming I have ever played!

@@mikenormandy9250 now hold up some of those reviews were kind of Justified as the game can be somewhat repetitive through the first half of the game and also can be boring but I will say the second half of the game though is absolutely amazing and I love it it's not a perfect game by any means but it definitely has improved over time and I got to say I also really enjoy the story
@Alone Mike the game is not too terrible you can make an argument that on release day it had a lot of bugs and graphical issues and you can also say that part of the game is kind of repetitive and boring but it's not all too bad like the second half of the game is actually quite enjoyable and gameplay isn't all too bad as well now that they've started updating the game and adding more features to it it's definitely gotten more enjoyable to me beforehand

@@il804 The PS5 is going to probably be released in 2021 and may even be backwards compatible. Plus just like the PS2 and PS3, Sony will still be releasing games even after the PS5 is out.

I just hope they add more customizable options for the bike and diff clothes for deacon I mean I love the skins and such but we need more tires more shrouds and stuff like that
I poured 80+ hours into Days Gone when I beat it a couple of months ago and now I'm playing Control but damnit Bend studios you done pulled me bacc in soon as I'm done with Control I'ma go knee deep into the shit again

Days Gone needs new kind of bikes. Even if you can make your owe kind of bikes. And we should be able to buy new clothes and Boots , sneakers and shoes. Even hair styles and facial hair styles would be hot too.
It would be nice to have a DLC for capt. kuri that could lead to the sequel.

Just subscribed....man I love how you break down everything....watched a few of you're videos and just the way you explain things is on point ....man now is the time to play this game again..... didn't want to have to start all over again after getting everything..... awesome support and awesome developers that care .....
This is the most satisfying open world game I ever played. Yes that includes skyrim. I only used the fast travel like 3 times in my first play through. I grinded and got full trust at all camps in my first playthrough and got 98% trophies. I swear I should have got the nitro drift trophy but it disagrees that I went 5 secs using nitro 3. I disagree it was easily 5 secs. I won't spoil it but if you haven't played post credit missions after the main story is over do it. There are available missions and one in particular that could be setting up a sequel. It was a cool twist with Neros Obrien
I don't remember the RUclips video but if you look it up you can use specific attachments on your bike to get that achievement because I also had the same problem it's the last trophy I needed for my platinum
I will be happy enough to be able to buy new outfits for Deacon. Similar to Tomb Raider, how they sold small outfits for Lara for a small price.

If I complete new game plus on Survival 2, will it unlock the survival difficulty trophies that were released a few months ago ? I don’t want to play 2 separate playthroughs for Survival and Survival 2. Will get on this after I finish Borderlands 3, which i am enjoying by the way.

So I beat days gone way back when it released and I wanted to start a new game but I didnt know it would delete my save. Can I still do a new game plus game since I already beat it? Maybe it might recognize I already have all the trophies for story missions?

Great support for the game. I love it! Two quick questions please. One, can we stack new game + over and over again? Two, do they increase the max stats so nero injectors still have a purpose? (Not sure if they did this already....)
No you still go to the checkpoints but in New game plus he just inject himself and once injected the Nero checkpoint is open to use as a sleep station and pick up respawning health and items. But you cannot actually choose to increase your health, stamina or focus. Once maxed they are done and it isn't hard to max them first playthrough. Takes time but once you get those Island Nero injectors, which are the hardest, as it takes the right jump at the right place, there is no increasing beyond that. Frankly I am playing hard 2 first on new game +, if it did increase those stats it would become too easy. Max health was 350, cannot recall stamina but I maxed that pretty early which helped me take down hordes, and as for focus I think it is fine at maximum. Any more and it would bend the game in our favor too much
Great updates, but it's weird there's no hudoptions to turn it off on a normal playthrough
I recently completed the game. I must say once you’re into it you just can’t let it go. I mean even though I completed the game, I still wait for a mission over radio: to locate marauders, to kill rippers, to trackdown people.

If you’re reading this and on the fence about buying this game still....do it. It’s super cheap and I’ve sank many hours into this game, (and have taken sick time from work to play it.) 4.5/5 for me.
You also lose any upgrades you got for weapons for clearing hordes to a certain % ie ya lose smp9 mag upgrade which is weird (makes you clear 35% of hordes again).
It'd be cool if the guns were customizable as well as Deacon

Honestly though I wouldn't mind if this game added a co-op mode for challenge mode or if they want single player it most likely won't happen but the thought is there it definitely has potential for it and I can definitely see it happening but like I said it most likely wont
Co-op is probably one of the most under utilized functions in games, hopefully when everything is eventually cross play co-op will get to shine.

I just want them to bring back the dialogue that they had in that “The First Hour Of Days Gone” video.
After watching that video, that first hour in the actual game feels so empty, like it’s missing a whole lot of something.
I hope Days Gone has a choice of camera angles like Uncharted 4.
RDR2 is an example of a game, that has a lot of camera angles.

What a coinkydink, just caved in and got it after a year of uncertainty. Survival mode straight off, worried about the vision disabling not scanning collectibles for platinum but I’ll figure it out.
So does completing it on new game plus survival 2 unlock the “surviving is living” trophy and the other trophies from the first DLC ?
Where can I equip the bike skins? I went to the mechanic and they weren't there .

Seems as though every week there is an update for Days Gone. I pre bought this game and was playing Odyssey. Played a few hrs and went back to Odyssey. Then origins and back to Odyssey. Wanted to wait until they fixed all that was wrong. I couldn't complete a couple spots cause once a person froze and as a result I couldn't kill them. So I hope most of that is fixed. Maybe I'm just not a zombie killing kind of guy.
Does the new dlc challenge rewards carry over to singleplayer mode? Money, credits etc?
So can I earn the Trophy that requires me to complete the story of Days Gone in survival mode if I play in Survival 2 or Hard 2? Or will I have to do play the story twice to earn the new Trophy they added and the old Trophy that requires I finish the story in survival mode?
Does anyone on here know how to use the other ammo for the new Syphon Filter rifle. It only let's me use the normal bullets for the riffle but when I try to use the explosive bullets or the gas darts it won't let me. I will note that I'm not playing on NG+mode but I do have the riffle on the normal playthrough.
So how well does it work now for the normal PS4? Are all bugs and slow downs etcs fixed by now or still problems? Because I still haven't bought it :)
I want deacon to have a flashback sequence where he thinks back on life in the mc and you actually get to play with flashback deacon and his old bike and do some missions for the club that would be so cool

Once you get the maps from the Ambush camp bunkers it tells you where hordes are in that area
I has the same issue but you actually have to explore near the hordes for it to appear on your map. Maybe just explore around the edges of the region where the outstanding horse is and it should pop up- I thought the game was glitching but as I explored and went to all the nero sites and ambush camps the last horde popped up

I wish they would change the heath hud, it looks like someone made it in MS Paint in 3 seconds.
You should try survival, it's more fun imo and no HUD.

Top 10 favorite games ever and got potential to be even better and more detailed maybe a focus on building and recruiting a new camp in a new area after lost lake falls early to the government superfreaks and then the pack of main characters that barely survive have to head out kinda like after the prison fell in walking dead
I would pay an extra $20 to see how a story with Deacon Sarah in O'Brien take off because you can't think that it's over with O'Brien there has to be more to that story why is he slowly turning into one of the freaks
My extended mags on IDF pup and MG55 didn't carry over into NG+. Is there any fix for this? Or do i just have to wait until i've almost beaten the game again to get them again?
