Hi Hanna, you are a true inspiration. While I have ways to go until I hit this level of downsizing, the biggest takeaway is this, when you simplify your style of clothing, you simplify your shoes as well. Understanding your personal style of clothing and what colors are the most flattering for you, definitely helps in this process. I’ve figured out that I love timeless, feminine classic pieces that lean towards a preppy style. I’m slowly but surely getting there. I’m currently in the phase of using up what I have, and only replacing things that fit within the aesthetic that I am looking for. I’ve been on a frugality journey these past 3 years, and there is no going back to massive consumerism. Cheers 🥂

Secondly, I could not agree more with finding out your true personal style makes a difference in your shoe/jewelry/accessory collections. You're doing such an incredible job just sticking with this for 3 years. Mindless consumerism is SUCH an easy trap to fall into (been there, trust me) and learning how to crawl out is liberating! @@HannaMicheleRoss Cork Birkenstocks are Comfortable and Birkenstocks are Comfortable and are easy to break in and they take time to break in but are Comfortable and I like Birkenstocks and I like to wear them without Socks and to Air My Feet Out
It's amazing how well thought out and presented Your content is; my inner perfectionist is very happy! 😄 I do live in a place where all four seasons are very present and the collection would be similar, however, I would add: 1) dressy closed-toe flat shoes for spring / fall season when it's too cold to go with open-toe ones, say ballerinas or loafers 2) riding style boots in brown leather for variety 3) 1 pair of heels in a fun colour or design as a statement piece when I'm in that mood 😉

The second and third are just so darn fun!!!! Love those statement pieces and I have had riding boots and fun, colourful statement heels at one point in my collection too :)
If you were to go to the beach or somewhere sandy, would you wear your Birkenstock summer sandals, flip flops, or a different pair? I live near the beach and am trying to update my shoe collection while looking for versatile options. Open to ideas from anyone. Thanks for the great vid!
I would wear those white birks! I don't wear flip flops just because I've never found them comfortable. I live in Cancun now and they're perfect for the beach...other than an interesting foot tan if you wear them loads 😂
Actually 12 is too many for me, yes! I currently have 8, and I think the 8-10 range suits me better. When I feel solid in my new collection, I will update this video.
