Seriously, that guy had the enthusiasm of coconut. It's one of the most amazing changes of tech, and this guy sounds like he has some place to be. The sled though....awesome.
Is anyone else completely sick and tired of having to turn the volume way up for areas where their talking and turn it way down for the music segments? A little editing goes a long ways guys, please level out the audio so it doesn't blow up my speakers when the music segment comes on.
I ain't switchin' back til' I see one kick some ass. I bought a '18 axys 155x3" and ride with two 850's, one 154x3" and one 165x3". We are all pretty close, the 165 does better in the super deep but nobody is runnin' away. The only stock sled that kicked our ass was an '18 axys 174x3". That thing was amazing on the hills.
Cool idea but I honestly can not see it being tough enough to ride is certain areas. I know here in Newfoundland, Canada I am pretty sure you could easily smash that thing into pieces.
Richard Goldman I think you're supposed to avoid hitting logs and rocks on a snowmobile, they work best in the snow... you should look into dirt bikes if that's your thing.
I thought Harley owners were blindly brand loyal, seems to me snowmobiling as a community is worse. There all good, your dealer is what makes the difference.
would eyed13 - Right?! I'm a big fan of all sleds. I'd be happy to have any. I still probably couldn't bring myself to by a Yamaha though. Just out of weight bias. I almost never see top end on my sleds either. Don't really care to.
Wow. From the comments there’s no RESPECT for elders right. Just worry about signing on the dotted line at the bank for that draft of money to buy the Sled of the year👌👌👌👌
It’s sad to see snowtrax talk on how great it is no draw backs I guess, is this artic cat television? I just got back from West Yellowstone and rented one of these and I will say the power was terrible, trail riding wasn’t bad as everyone says, but off trail. Rays from the sky didn’t shine down on me and make me think, wow! Really it felt heavy. I returned it that day and got a different one, during my trip I met a few people with this sled and asked what they thought of it. Not one person told me it was great, all I got was it’s “ok”
Looks unstable if your a novice rider looks like it could flip. And 6 years? Axis came out in 16 and I have one and it’s an amazing machine with the new motor. Cat is trying to keep up with doo and Polaris they are miles ahead of cat
Ty I rode cat my entire life until 2016 I switched and I will say they are just a better machine better throttle response better handling and easier to handle in powder. Even the hoods are easy to strip down.
aDayInTheLife well I rode cat up until 2016 your option is your and what color you ride is your choice but I will say this as a former cat rider of over 20 years...axis is just better. Polaris put a lot of time into rider easy and straight up power.
Good Job by Arctic Cat/Textron, but the next mountain sled will probably be electric......These guys need to work on their enthusiasm skills, this is a brand new industry concept....
1. The guy in yellow is AWFUL. He may have knowledge but he should not be in front of a camera. 2. Everyone asking if the beam can handle this or that needs to do a little research. 1 it's a beam. It's so much stronger than the rails on our sleds.
How can this company watch their own review after and not say "Damn. He needs to just shut up."...
Seriously, that guy had the enthusiasm of coconut. It's one of the most amazing changes of tech, and this guy sounds like he has some place to be. The sled though....awesome.
Matt Allred needs to retire from videos. Badly.
This was really hard to watch mainly because of his commentary lol
Is anyone else completely sick and tired of having to turn the volume way up for areas where their talking and turn it way down for the music segments? A little editing goes a long ways guys, please level out the audio so it doesn't blow up my speakers when the music segment comes on.
Matt its time you take a public speaking class. Its very obvious how uncomfortable you are in front of the camera.
What are your thoughts of riding this sled on the trails these it wheels on hard pack ?
Is that what you guys ride in? Frig you could do that on a short track..
Looks like it would be a capable mountain sled
Yes, definitely
God this guy can make things really boring
still would like to know how heavy that sled is compared to the polaris rmk

He’s every where!!!!

How you gonna do that if you don't ride with one in your group?
How will I ride with one in my group if they're not available to the public? Tell me that Ulf.
Mcat 18 not available? Tought you were running 18s in your group?
Did you watch the video? 2019 Alpha One
Ye but you did compare 18 sleds in your first comment?
What is it like on the trail?
Cool idea but I honestly can not see it being tough enough to ride is certain areas. I know here in Newfoundland, Canada I am pretty sure you could easily smash that thing into pieces.
You Newfoundlanders smash everything to pieces anyways “me son”...ha haaaaa!!!
Too true livin in mb all there are is rocks to run into 😀
When I hit a log, or rock straight on will the single beam fail?
Richard Goldman I think you're supposed to avoid hitting logs and rocks on a snowmobile, they work best in the snow... you should look into dirt bikes if that's your thing.
Oh and you know exactly where every rock and log is beneath the snow?
Early season when there is 3 feet of fluff you never know where all the stumps are. So dont be a dick.
Jake Peterson Stuff happens Jake, when you get some riding experience you’ll see.
Trees for traction, I always say.
6 years in the making eh? ...that’s one slow R&D department ....must be tough keeping a grip on less than 20% of the sled market
With something new like this, I bet they wanted to test it extensively before release.
Most things spend 4-6 years in R&D before release.
I thought Harley owners were blindly brand loyal, seems to me snowmobiling as a community is worse. There all good, your dealer is what makes the difference.

Duncan D McGrath Keep riding that shit rmk buddy

Time will tell
Bandit 1 this is the best snow they could find for a test? I agree, time will tell.
Game changer.
Let’s hope the sled is more exhilarating than the guy talking....wow...

Arctic Cat?
I think you mean Textron.......
Yes, but they kept the Arctic Cat name on the snowmobiles.
FSEVENMAN textron owned polaris for a while
Textron just bought 'em, this has been being developed for several years they said
Textron is the quads and side by sides there selds are Arctic cat all way will be.
Like u guys can’t get another guy to review these things. The guy in the orange 🍊 makes me wanna peel my eye lids off
Black rattle can the purple away... i really hate that purple.
Going back to their original colours brah, I think that purple is sick as fuck
Looks unstable if your a novice rider looks like it could flip. And 6 years? Axis came out in 16 and I have one and it’s an amazing machine with the new motor. Cat is trying to keep up with doo and Polaris they are miles ahead of cat
ricter29 sure they are! lmao. Cat is the leader they follow.
aDayInTheLife u sure? How so? Explain.
Ty I rode cat my entire life until 2016 I switched and I will say they are just a better machine better throttle response better handling and easier to handle in powder. Even the hoods are easy to strip down.

I'm waiting for the guy to fall alseep
Over weight, over the hill old men tryn to sell a sled they have no idea at what I could do, smh
Min,n mmm.,
6 years to come up with those shi... colours !
Stick to reviewing trail sleds, this is like watching a morbidly obese person give a presentation on diet and exercise.
Cool concept. But god is it ugly
