I am so happy you did arm and lip swatches. My husband surprised me with the black case for my birthday and the shade queen. I want to buy a second color that’s more of an everyday color. It’s the most comfortable bullet lipstick I have ever worn.

Sandra McDonagh actually , it’s a multi purpose term that defines the trace, physical or olfactory left by a moving object: animal, boat, plane... people and their perfume. I love this word.
The term is often used in the perfume world for how far a fragrance projects. A low sillage is close to the skin scent, good for the office say but if you want your fragrance to be noticed in a nightclub then you’d need a strong sillage. :)

Michele, I’ve seen several videos on House of Silage lipsticks but your video is by far the best one. Your attention to detail from the unboxing to the descriptions of the cases and the colors/formulas is just excellent. Thank you.
It's funny but all luxury beauty youtubers have fallen in love with House of Sillage at the exact same time. Erin Nicole has just uploaded a video and she's in love with House of Sillage, Lisa Lisa D1 did a video too; Fancy Face etc. But no one actually purchased a product from the brand. It's all like a big marketing campaign lol With that being said I adore all of the mentioned youtubers; it's just that no one wanted to purchase a product from the brand.
This is pretty common with all brands, especially when they are launching something new, I was very pleased to see that Michele was sent the entire line, whereas some others were sent one or Two shades to try . Michele is the only one who truly trades in high end luxury cosmetics on an on going basis, so to me, it makes sense for her to receive these in PR. :)
Ana B I wonder if now that they have the lipstick cases, they would be more inclined to buy the refills. The cases would be a beautiful gift for someone though.
Lisa Lisa D1 is not a luxury beauty you tuber! She does Walmart hauls and mispronounced sillage. She is not in the same league as Michelle.

Oh my gosh. Take my breath away. That is the most gorgeous case. I just could not resist. I do collect vintage cases. Mainly the Revlon Van Cleef and Arpels cases. The black case stole my heart. And I had the hardest time choosing the shade but went with Knight as it looks so stunning on you. Then when you said how the formula was just made for us desert dwellers it was destiny 🤣. I appreciate the fact that you have a yellow undertone to your skin just like I do which helps me see the shades better! As a vintage makeup collector with a very specific taste in makeup who only buys products that are in crystal or metal /refillable compacts this is a great option for me to add to my collection!
My bestie bought me one a few months ago! The case is red with Swarovski crystals. I would have picked white or black myself but I love it nonetheless!

Great presentation as always Michele. I have one of these lipsticks along with the black case but I must say that for me it's so not worth the investment. I rarely regret my beauty purchases. Again that's just my personal experience. House of Silage owes you a BIG THANK you for this presentation.

Thanks for sharing! I find it strange that no one from the beauty youtubers purchased a product from the brand. All of them are very impressed but everything is PR. No one purchased. I'm sure I would also be very positive if it's a gift but if I have to pay for it, I'm just not convinced.

The cases are exquisite. Lip colors are pretty, but not as chic as the cases, especially the floral one with the multicolored Swarovski crystals. I'm assuming you can only use their refills?

Wow!!! That limited edition case is insane and I seriously want one😳 and there is a pink version of the white bow🥰 of course I want the lipstick to be nourishing and I want it to wear off because I want to pull out the bow and apply as many times a day as possible😜💋
Interesting that they chose a balm shape for the lipstick bullet. That always seems more casual to me.
Definitely and more difficult to get a nice clean edge when using the bullet directly, which is how you would want to apply them so you can use the gorgeous case.
My guess is that the formula needs that shape. This is just a guess, as I don't own any (😭), but most likely it is too soft to be in the more traditional lipstick packaging. That also leads me to believe that they would be super comfy on the lips. Oh to dream of such luxury 🤓🤓🤓

linda jackson guerlain does exactly the same thing with their Rouge G lipsticks. In fact I am pretty sure that’s what has inspired the custom case trend. They are beautiful and are a quarter of the price.
The House of Sillage knew what they were doing when they sent you their PR package. I can’t think of anyone better to present their product. I absolutely love how cosmetics can excite those of us that love the whole process of sampling, testing and playing with makeup. Those have to be the most beautiful lipsticks I have ever seen and the packaging is breathtaking 💕

I first saw this lipstick and case in one of Tarababyz haul videos and fell in love, but didn’t make a purchase (I couldn’t decide which color I wanted 😊, plus it’s expensive, so I knew I could only get one). But after I saw this video, I had to get the limited edition Whispers of Truth case and the 3 gold casing lipsticks (I bought them from The House of Sillage website). I just love flowers and Swarovski, so that one spoke to me (Buy me! Buy me!)! 😂 OMG! 😲 The case is so beautiful! 😍💄❤️ I don’t think I would ever put the case in my purse and take it with me, since I’d be too afraid to mess it up! But I will enjoy it at home! 🤗

The cases are stunning!! Saks does not have the limited edition you featured on the website, although they do have the black, pink, blue, etc. I don't need these but they are sooo 💗💗💗 beautiful I have to get at least one. Congratulations on getting the entire set of lipsticks through PR!

Hi Michele, fantastic presentation! And it is really helpful to see the lipsticks both on the lips and on your hand. The only thing is putting me off is the packaging. I am sorry for being so blunt, but for me it's just tasteless kitsch. I rather prefer Chanel chick and minimalism.

Oh wow! These cases are STUNNING! Out of the regular cases I'd go with the black and/or white. The LE case is beyond beautiful and luxurious. That one would have to be an art piece for me. No way I could carry that around. I'd be scared to death I'd lose it LOL I can't stand lipstick that has a taste which is why I don't use YSL some Dior and some Chanel. Those reds light up your face. All of the colors are gorgeous on you. Thank you for showing these. I may need one or two or three LOL

Its funny how Countess is a soft dewy peachy shade. I'm used to Kav Von D's Countess, which is a highly pigmented matte orange red. Closest to King I think! Do the House of Sillage lipsticks blur liplines at all? Feather without lipliner? The shades they've chosen all look very wearable for mature lips.

King,Knight and Queen were the prettiest in my opinion.
Whoa Batman, Michele those cases are insane !! After you did your live yesterday, I went to their website and saw all the cases and the shades. Now, I want them all 😂. The white case belongs in a glass case with a lit spotlight on it. It’s breathtaking and reminds me of French enamel limoges. I’m going to get a lipstick, now to go pick a color. You are such trouble for me, but in a good way 😂💕💕💕♥️
I like the simplicity of the refill cases. The rest of it is so not my style. Would have liked to see King and Queen next to each other to see the differences and similarities better.
No surprise, but the lipstick cases retail for US $195+. However, the lipsticks are $35 which isn’t too bad! They also have a sample pack of the perfumes for $35. 🥰
