We are definitely working on bringing some of our content to Spotify. We have to re-record most of our music, as we have set the bar very high in terms of audio quality. In the next compilation by SEIKILO that will be released soon, we have one song with Yiannis Pantazis playing his aulos. So, stay tuned by subscribing to our channel at ruclips.net/user/seikilo

Sonds just like the ancient andean pan flute. Pretty weird to know that sometimes things evolve in the same way in different civilizations around the world.
Thank you so much for listening and commenting. From a quick research, you must be referring to the siku or zampolla instrument. Indeed, it is weird but also fascinating, because it reminds us of all the things that connect us, no matter how far apart we may be. We encourage you to get in touch directly with him at info@symposionsantorini.com! 💬 Yannis Pantazis' reply: "To 'hear' the initial tuning of the Syrinx, we must go back to the moment when Pan embraced the bride. And this is hard to detect! To meditate on this question, we must consult both the historical-religious tradition through written monuments and virtual representations and also deal with the practical construction and application. From this point of view and from my experience as a maker, I can testify that there are times when a reed alone can produce harmonious tetrachords and sometimes a whole heptatonic scale! Material, by its nature, has its own "logical" sequence. But since this musical instrument also had a ritual use and to approach the question "what was the original scale," this is difficult to say with certainty, and we can only make assumptions. One of them is that Pan, according to the Hermetic Cosmogony, is himself the Universal Logos according to his analogies. So, we must turn to the Orphic-Pythagorean philosophy to trace the proportions that create the cosmic scale of the world's harmonious structure; this is of great interest to seek. I have made Syrinx on various scales, and they all have their special interest. The so-called "pastoral scale" 2-1-3-1 - 2-1- 2 also sounds very melodious and pleasant. I once made a custom Syringe for Vangelis Papathanasiou, and he told me about the time when Zamfir went to his studio. It's great that you preserve this huge musical tradition in Romania. I have spoken with an archaeologist who lives in your country about the possibility of organizing syringe-making workshops for students in the Brasov area. I hope I somehow enlightened you, and I will be happy to answer any other questions that may arise." Moreover, you may want to see his amazing work at www.symposionsantorini.com!
