This D-core doesnt look anywhere near good enough... It was a mistake letting Broberg, Desharnais and Ceci all go at the same time. Team also looks very slow without Mcleod, Foegle and Holloway. Not likely having another 24-3 stretch this year, cant afford another terrible start
I honestly don't even know why they let go of Desharnais. He played pretty good last season. And yeah Perry and Ryan on that 4th line are too slow at the NHL level

Cant base anything off one game. They range a few off the bar helly is a fantastic goalie and skinner let some bad one sin. A few bad offsides when they had a good setup.. some bad giveways. It may be so, what you said, but pairings take time too. Bouchard seemed to make the most mistakes blatently on D. Emberson has a hard time receiving even mediocre passes. Lets see in 10 games.

The loss of Halloway, Foegele and McLeod sure showed its head tonight. This team isn’t the same without the speed they played with last season. No puck pressure and zero chemistry out there.
