It's been a few years since I've played this game, but if I remember correctly there are certain accessories you can equip that cause the "hit" marks to vanish from the ring. However, as a result you do significantly more damage. It's a very tricky accessory to master, especially for weapons with smaller marks. This guy seems to have a really good handle on it though. :)
wait a sec; How could Kurando have anothr form? I've [played through game and found no such form. Do you have the strategy guide or do you know of a website for this game? If so please respnod to this question.
Why are the cant u see the marks on the rings? Sorry if you think im noob but ive only played a bit of this game and yeah i saw some videos of this game (boss fights, walkthroughs, etc.) And i saw that there's no marks in alot of the videos ive watched and im sooo confused ...! someone help!!
It seems that few people I've seen playing on RUclips use the Technical Ring nor do they use many combos. Done correctly though it can drastically shorten fight times. Tech. Ring isn't all that hard with a Coral Pendant and a little practice, and the effects are worth it imo.
Nice! Yea, it's a reeeeeally cool accessory that embellishes an already reeeeeeally cool game mechanic (Fate Ring). I wish they'd release these games (or at least Covenant) on XBL and PSN. That would make me one very happy AegisNeglector. lol

@gridergirl it is her alt. clothing, you get it by getting kurando's seconded form side quest then talk to mother.
The epic rematch between Yuri and Albert Simon from the first game. Gotta love it.
My favorite boss battle of the game :) I wish they would make a fourth Shadow Hearts.
You must finish the dog shrine sidequest 1st, then u need to go back to his mother and fight kounenki again, this time alone. Check gamefaqs.

No not really it's an easy battle if you know how to play it I was lvl45 here no problems against him
