    Hey Vince,
It's not always about the money, for every client. For some it's about Justice! For some it's about exposing the company and it's unlawful practices and bringing about change. So yes, let's go to trial, all the way to the Supreme Court if needed!!!

I agree! My lawsuit is for change within that company so that no one would go through what I went through.

Hell yes! Im just happy 4 my case to leave eeoc right now so it can be public its not about the money but i def deserve a chunk especially when the business owner was so careless when he re hired the guy he knowingly s harrased me. Doing this he harrassed 5 other women 3 were minors and prob more most of them didnt want to say anything but ended up talking about it to me cuz they knew he did it to me first n continuously. So ya in my mind this.man its a pretty small business but he makes a crazy amount of money.... so its on. I hope all the news channels n papers get ahold of it!! That will be bitter sweet.

@@ProSePlaintiff I display my appreciation whenever I can. You should too, because without this channel you would have nothing to do with you time.

If you take your case this far, you should put the bet on yourself.

I understand that an NDA is very common when settling a case, and I know why the defense would really push for one. But, from my understanding, there are (some) states where they can't be required.
Can you offer some insight into what NOT to agree to during a settlement so you can advocate with your story later? I'd assume that there are a a few "standard" clauses or wording that defense firms will put in their paperwork that might slip by someone who is representing themselves in negotiations.

I'm happy for a nice settlement or a huge win ! The way I see it is most clients have a very good chance of winning either way look it up 67% of cases who have counsel usually win an average of $48k that's almost 7/10 cases

I don't like the idea of being public (case info is public). Even if you win, your future employer might be wary. I wonder how often they find out - I guess job background searches find court cases though.

    Jurisdiction question -
I live in one state and employer is based in another state.
The jobsites where I worked for the employer are in other multiple states.
I have a letter of right to sue from the EEOC.
Wĥich Federal Court District do I file in?
