Same. And it’s well deserved. He was why got me into mma. Because he kept fighting past his prime a lot of fans tried to diminish his legacy. That did my head in. Now after his last two boxing fights everyone’s on his nuts again and I like that haha

Same here guys. I am from Brazil and my dad used to talk about him a lot and when I watched Anderson front kick Vitor in the face I became instantly a fan of him and the sport. That moment was very important, It was a big step for the popularity of UFC and MMA in Brazil. I would watch all his fights non stop.. After the Uriah Hall fight I couldn't get my head around the fact the he would be gone from the sport, because no other had impacted me so much as a fan. The morning after that night I walked to me job in tears all the time, lol. I'm glad he's now in Boxing and getting more recognition from the boxing public.

Part of the reason he was undefeated for nine years is because he was the cash cow and hero in Russia. It's the same as boxers who go 106-6, (Julio Cesar Chavez) because he was a hero in Mexico and they weren't giving him anyone that could beat him. Buddy he didnt discredit Fedor. He said Anderson was p4p no.1 and gsp was 2. Fedor was still one of the best but you cant put him at the top of the p4p heap when you fight in the B league. Come to the ufc and prove your mettle against the best competition. No matter the sport you cant call yourself the absolute best when you compete in the 2nd tier leagues, simple as that. And that's the reason Stipe is the HW goat not Fedor.

@@poopyanalbumhole Top fighters get paid in millions and I don't see most fighters complaining. What slavory are you talking about, that's capitalism through and through, you make what you generate. Dont expect a rookie to make millions in a league that is just 30 years young and you need to reinvest in a growing business. Fighter pay is increasing every year. Stop parroting that same tune and learn how business works, fighters now make 20 times what they did in the 90s and in 10 years they will be making 10 times what they make now.
I think dana is a sleazeball and could pay more but he isn't paying them unfairly less otherwise fighters would not be clamouring to get In the ufc. Media is overblowing this pay narrative and people like you are sheepishly following suit. If the pay was this bad ufc would be failing not booming to become one of the biggest leagues and fastest growing sport in the world. Fighters would be leaving left and right to find better alternatives.
That all aside, Fedor competed in the B league and that is a fact. If you took his nuts out of your mouth maybe you would be able to see that. Nobody trashed him, apparently calling somebody one of the best but not the p4p king is trashing him, clown.

Finished a hungry Triple C, and almost beat him in the rematch. Finished Benavidez in his prime. Finished Horiguchi with 1 second left in the fight, one of the most incredible things I've ever seen. And then armbar in mid-air against Ray Borg, which was THE most crazy submission I've seen to this day.
