    I made this and it turned out beautifully. I used 6mm needles and followed smaller pattern. However when mesured it mesured same as the larger size. So I may try a 5.5 mm needle and see what happens x

    Maybe I must have did something wrong or I didn’t really understand the written pattern my ribbing came out like a seed stitch pattern, and in the decrease part it says repeat the two rows 7 times , does that mean double to get 14 rows but it says 16 . I’m so lost and don’t know where I went wrong

    I only have DK yarn. Would it still work?

    In the pattern on the decrease row it says "3 p der". What does that mean? Or is it a typo? Thank you!

    • @sowoolly
      @sowoolly  4 года назад

      Hi Nancy, no worries, it was a mistake. It's ok now. This is the decrease row: K3, sk1passo, K to last 5 st, k2tog, K3. Cheers!

    Hi! I just started making your 6-12 months one with 39 cast. I keep having trouble on row 6. As you said all even rows should be 1P and 1 K and end with P. I keep ending with K. This is the second time I am getting this wrong. I made your 0-6months diaper and it came out nice. I was wondering if the pattern is the same. Or maybe I am missing something? Thank you for your video and inspiration! This has helped me through lockdown.

      After watching your video in slow motion and pausing it a few times, I finally found I was actually missing a YO! False alert! Thank you so much again for sharing your creations. You got me through lockdown. Sending you lots of love from Mauritius!

    What if I used 6 yarn instead of two strands of 4? Do I change needle size or stitch sizes?

    • @sowoolly
      @sowoolly  4 года назад

      You can, as long as you obtain the same gauge. Please take a look at the written pattern (there’s a link to my website below the video, on the description box).

    Hi,can you PLEASE show how to do the 2nd button hole row on row 9? I finally figured out my mistake on the first one on closely watching your video but continue to only have one hole on the second button hole row. I cannot figure out how. I'm mostly done with my 4th cover and would really like to be able to make the rest correctly.

      Hi, please take a look at the written instructions, you’ll find the link to this pattern on the description box.

      @@sowoolly Yes, ma'am. I've used those as well as your video. I still am having trouble

    • @sowoolly
      @sowoolly  3 года назад +1

      Oh dear, I don’t understand what the issue is

    • @CHarmon99
      @CHarmon99 3 года назад

      When I was making the 2 button hole rows originally, I was missing button holes on one side, following the written instructions. Then I rewatched the video closely and realised my mistake on row 4. Now I have 2 holes on the 4th row of my covers. But I still have the same problem on row 9. I only have one button hole. I have tried a few different ways but I am doing something wrong and not sure what.

  • @CHarmon99
    @CHarmon99 3 года назад

    I had a problem with the button holes. I redid them several times and was having the right side (off both diapers I've completed) not have the button holes on that side.
    I can easily just slip a button through a stitch with it being %100 wool. I'm just not sure what happened. Could anyone explain?

    • @brandiewest4752
      @brandiewest4752 2 года назад +1

      I'm having the same issue! But you're right, you can easily slip the button through with it being 100% wool. Still frustrating though!

    • @CHarmon99
      @CHarmon99 2 года назад

      @@brandiewest4752 I don't remember exactly what it was but I eventually figured it out. I think I was somehow doing the stitches backwards or out of order on one side or something like that.

  • @annebuckley834
    @annebuckley834 3 года назад

    I feel stupid I can't even work out how to put the stitches on I keep stopping and starting the video and still can't work it out
