    Hi friend, me again! When shaping the forefoot when you say “repeat this 7 more times” are we starting the whole repeat from when we finish the row or are we counting it as one from mid row? Kind regards God bless you

    Question: I found my toe becoming lopsided with one side having more stitches than the other 🤔 - did I miss something on the toe formation/shapping 9:03
    Was I supposed to knit across after the second turning of the work? That part wasn’t clear then move to the second row of the toe formation?

    I was given some yarn that immediately made me think of baby clothes. The problem is, I've never done that kind of knitting. I found your video while searching how to knit baby booties and I want to say, this is an excellent video! It is very easy to follow, you are easy to hear and understand, your work is shown well and there is no unnecessary chat that draws out the video. I have only seen this one video, but it got me to subscribe, because if they are all this good, I can't wait to learn more from you. Thank you, so very much!!!

    Thank you for the brilliant instructions! I've just made these as my first ever project :) They turned out ok for a beginner, but I think I need to work on my tension as they're sized a little differently from each other (ooops!)

      @sowoolly  4 года назад +1

      And thank you for your lovely comment! Controlling the tension is a matter of practice. Don't worry, be patient and keep up knitting ;D

    • @bananapeaches6370
      @bananapeaches6370 4 года назад +3

      I have a thing called ‘second sock syndrome’ which I’ve learned is not just about being done with the first sock and not feeling like making the second one - it’s also about tension. I had the exact same problem as you when I was starting out - my tension! To combat it I make two at a time from two seperate balls of yarn (you can easily make two balls out of one) .... of course with this comes the added stress of yarn getting tangled, but at least my socks are the same tension, same amount of rows, same amount of mistakes if there are mistakes 😂 at least whatever I do to one I do to the other 😂
      You’ll get there! Just keep knitting! Sorry for carrying on... I get a little bit of a buzz when I see people learning to knit! It’s not a bad craft to know how to do! All the best!

    I'm trying to follow this pattern but I cant get past the first row. im a beginner, every time I get to the end of the first row where the first stitch from casting on is, it makes 24 stitches. I dont know how but it's only the slip knot stitch. I've tried not making a slip knot and it's the same thing, but only that very first stitch that was made. should I use a different cast on? I've already tried for hours switching between continental and english to see if it was maybe my hands
