Jen, I just have to say that watching you change your day around what Jackson wanted made me smile. Parents of 2-3 year olds get it. You have to just adjust and go with what they want.
I love Jackson face when he chooses the ride he's so cute, I'm bummed that you couldn't ride some the rides he wanted, I'm glad you had fun at Disney California Adventure.😃

Aww Jacksons little anticipation smirk on the inside out ride. I feel like thats an expression my wee guys didn't start making until about 3 also. I love seeing their chubby cheek faces make that face. Its the best mommy core memory.
Core memory for me is meeting Kenai and Koda in that play area, kind of unfortunate they don't seem to be around as much even with their statues outside.
Maybe not a popular opinion, but love the Mommy and Jackson at Disneyland vids more than the Tim at D23 vids 😂 Love the whole Tracker Family! I am a longtime and will be a forever fan!!

Jackson "Details" - PRECIOUS! :) Have to say - just noticed - Jackson has really gotten older recently - he DEFINITELY looks more like a young man, vs. a baby - maybe it's the "Big Brother" in him starting to settle in to prepare him? :) Sorry so many things you tried to get on were closed, but it always makes me SO happy to see Jackson's face, filled with joyful anticipation, when he does rides. Flying across the country to Disneyland and then spending most of the day in a playground, and then leaving to go take a nap. This is why I will never have kids. They used to have those at McDonald's when I was a kid.
As someone who now has teens, I highly suggest parents not tell their toddler too many details about the plan for the day. As you come across unavailable rides, it won't matter because you didn't discuss it ahead of time. Jackson handled it very well considering the circumstance but many kids will have tantrums and that isn't fun to deal with for parents, the kid, or the other people nearby. Practice dealing with disappointment close to home instead of on what might be a once-in-a-lifetime trip.

I just finished watching this and I just want to say cherish theses memories Jackson is beyond adorable he facial expressions on the rides and hugging his mommy is beyond words I love how Disney brings such joy to our lives my kids are grown now but we still go to Disneyland every year together you and Tim are excellent parents love you guys

You were here the weekend when the bands of the tropical storm were here. Came in right after the massive heat wave. I know the humidity and such wasn't as bad as Florida, but those of us that have been to WDW, the weather reminded us of it. Normally it's not so sticky here. I only wish it had been windier and rainier here. One thing I love about Florida is a good thunderstorm with a downpour and wind. Sorry, we didn't have normal Orange County weather for you. Between the heat wave and tropical storm, it has been a crazy summer weather wise.
I love it when people that are more familiar with WDW, like Disneyland. I always worry that DL/DCA will underwhelm them but it makes me happy to see it get so much love.
My friend and I (I'm 59, she's 42) were so surprised how much we loved Cars Land. Neither of us know anything about Cars - I know a little but never saw it in English. It just seems to be slower and quieter compared to Pixar Pier and Avengers. We were the LAST two people to expect we'd enjoy it.
@@cijmo DCA is much better now than it was when it first opened. Cars Land really gave it a boost and Avengers Campus is raising it to the next level. Unfortunately there’s just not a lot of room in California for expansion but they really try to pack it all in.
@@cucug8324 Yeah, I hadn't been there since 2011 and everything was behind blinds. You basically followed a trail to one attraction, then had to follow another trail to the next one. I really like what it has become. I don't walk well but I wanted my friend to enjoy the evening so I just sat at the Starbucks at the circle and it was so pretty. The Edison lightbulbs and the characters were all out around there, it was Lunar new year, it was really great.
Great video. DCA seemed really quiet, not big crowds. ☹️ so many things were closed. Jackson handles those little disappointments so well, but I think it’s because of the way you handle them with him!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😎✨💫👍🏻
I was really surprised! I assumed DCA and DL were like WDW where there just are no slow days anymore. It would be so disappointing to pay so much to travel to Disney and experience all this and then so many things are closed (for both parks!). I can understand why parents would get pretty upset about that but you're so right, you can tell Jenn staying so calm and positive really helped Jackson!
This was really nice getting to hang out with you guys. Jackson has grown a lot! It was so sweet watching his reaction to the rides. Glad you finally got to do some of the rides.
