We did a new run the next DMF and got current world record of 1hour 8min from Patchwerk to Kel'thuzad. • Video

Fastest clear ever by around 30min.

Cool idea, it would be awesome to have actual new 40 man raids, but they'd have to have separate servers just for that, and it'd be a nightmare for Blizz to manage three different versions of the game at the same time, all while developing new content for two of them. Plus their track record on new content lately has been...yeah.

What an amazing run! This is why I love playing RPGs so much: to min-max this much (even if its a private server - which can also mean that it was harder than retail 🤔). Mind telling me what addons do you use(at least the interface ones.)?
I like my UI to just give me all information in a compact way.
Frames&Raid is Luna Unit Frames
Bartender for bars
MSBT for combat text (I Know I have the wow one over the heads i just like to see numbers)
KTM/DPSMate threat and dmg meter
Bigwigs for boss timers.
Eavesdrop is the combat log on the far right.
Buffalo for buffs
I got some other stuff like NECB (Nature Enemy Cast Bars), Fubar (just for different info), Prat for my chatbox
and my alltime fav addon AtlasLoot of course
It’s 100 times easier than retail. Procs are off and nodes respawn at least 4 times faster
What add on gives you the hp of raid icon mobs and how many ppl are targeting them?
Hey love your videos, but I have a quick question. Why do you use hamstring so much in your rotation when fighting bosses?
Unless I mess up, its only used when other spells are on CD. TO fish for extra crusader procs etc. Its not that worth as alliance unless you have some weapon with a stronk proc on hit effect (like Ironfoe or MSA etc)
Its pretty nice as horde for extra Windfury procs tho!

some stuff is probably different. Idk how much or w/e.
But from info we have from vanilla naxx its very likely that armor values are higher and resistance values are abit higher meaning bosses take less dmg here.
Then again buff cap might be different meaning we'd have less buff (mostly HP since ud remove all stam buffs to keep all your dps increase buffs.)
We'll see in classic, I believe we'll do even more dmg in classic tho

none, all our tanks are fury/prot (something like this : classicdb.ch/?talent#LZVVzmLxoVoxizox with last point in either 5/5 BS or 5/5 Dualwield)
Offtanks use alot of Annihilator and Nightfall and we also have a few palas swinging nightfalls on some bosses

@@Karasike thats the same question i heard over and over, you don't need ANY deep def Tank for Progression. 10~ More points in the def Tree do not make you magically immortal. You can wear full t2++ midigation Gear with fury/prot and have no downside, Gear > Specc

As someone that hasn't played vanilla in years, what is the point of the dragonlings and chickens?
Chicken has a chance to give everyone in the group 5% attack speed and dragonlings are just hitting few times for some free damage. This is basically what vanilla has devolved to. Content so easy that absolute and utter minmaxing is the norm cause it delineates what is considered "skillfull" player in vanilla wow.
Arcanite Dragonling also occasionally applies a debuff that increases fire damage by 60 for each stack applied. That's a decent dps increase for mages.

I actually don't know why they reset. the hunter who pulled them feigned but they shouldn't have reset. Everything is not bug free you know. But pathing on these private servers, especially for mobs, is better than it ever was in retail vanilla.
If you ever played vanilla you'll remember mobs evading all the time.
But yeah we got lucky there or something, 2 of those casters mobs wouldnt have wiped us anyway tho since we can interrupt the arcane explosion they do

if you look at the statistics, back in the day not even 1% of the playerbase can finish the raid. enough said
Times have changed.
Back in the days different lifestyle existed. WoW 24/7 or hardcore raiders were different from the ones today. Also not many players even visited naxxramas, and lets not start talking about gear requirement for it.
The time between nax release and tbc release was also a problem. It was too short. Many didnt even want to start the raid since the equipment was useless in the next expansion.
It looks easy because its on private server and these guys have braindead gear and is fully stacked on buffs.. things will change once real classic is out
Gear level and buffs these guys have are about 9 months of live classic server to achieve. They spent some serious gold and farming just for those buffs.
@@zylle1993 It looks easy because every single player in this raid has full vanilla bis gear and each of them has cleared it with the same group probably 20-30+ times. Its just muscle memory for them.

My UI isent really anything special. Luna, Buffalo (for buffs), bartender, dpsmate, ktm, eavesdrop(the combat log thing), ADF that shows debuffs on target and fubar
I don't really play special macros. Its mostly start autoattack bound to my attacks, weapon swaps etc

Once you have good gear it's very situational when you want to go for overpower procs. Since you can only keep 25 rage when swapping it's only worth if you don't miss out on Bloodthirsts, Whirlwinds and Heroic strikes. If you delay your BT by half a gcd its just not worth to swap stance pretty much.
Its alot more viable when your gear is lower and you have problems keeping rage bar full and it can also help with Flurry uptime if you specc into imp Overpower for the increase in crit.

I suppose it's because of the high armor and 90 block. What does 90 block mean tho? Does it mean it blocks out 90 dmg total? Or is there any other calculation for what 90 block means ? Cleansing totem gets to do a lot more work for just 1 click so you can't say paladins have the upper hand. Let's not even talk about the windfury totem
@@wispppp Well, my guild stumbled upon KT and never achieved to kill him. Alliance got it easier, I mean, I know it for a fact, don't compare a silly totem to epuration. Windfury sucked compared to stat boost.

I'm guessing it has something to do with the debuff limit or the other weapons simply deal more damage.
it's a tanking weapon, there are better dps weapons to use.
I think its because the debuff spread. Overaggro or overpull when it proccs in big packs
Well, gressil and the hungering cold are far superior weapons in general, 73 dps each vs the 53 dps on thunderfury. As a mainhand gressil is better in every way with it's 2.7 speed and the +6 swords on the hungering cold is extremely useful. Thunderfury has it's uses but, no weapons beat out gressil and thc 9/10

From launch of Molten Core to Kel'thuzad you do at least the bosses that can drop the Bindings of the Windseeker every week. In total you do MC for like 2 years. Some guilds even have 2 raid teams for MC after it becomes faceroll easy so that they have double the chances to get bindings.

Remember when your raid team was fully geared and enchanted? Yea me neither. Classic is not private servers. I give the private server players a month before they go back to the F2P servers.
You do realize this is an old server, they have gone trough all the progress. They didnt just get all the gear for free xD Ill be waiting when these guys cleared MC when you're level 42 stuck in the chicken escort quest in feralas.
@@pedatoore I hope you realise the Lightbringer private server is missing a lot of features/values that were in the original game. The armor value of bosses on this server is completely wrong, which is why they're melting so fast. Not to mention they have access to endless pots and flasks as well as the dragonslayer buff, whereas having all of those up during raid time would be a luxury during real times.

Well there's a lot of evidence that Naxx is actually much harder on this server than on classic. The server they are playing on is known for buffing content so that top guilds find it harder to clear.
Also consider that they are dramatically overgeared
Idd, this is obviously a speed run while everybody has gotten almost the best gear there is.
Raiding in Vanilla was kinda this easy. What you see here is a fully decked BiS raid with a ton of buffs steamrolling content they have done countless times.

Definitely says 1hr20min naxx. Nothing about from what boss to another. And trash is part of the instance. Always has been. If we are going by that logic why not just time every boss fight and say “hey we cleared naxx in 17 minutes” or whatever I didn’t time every boss individually

@@noggs_gaming I didnt make the rules how the raidlogs system works on private servers. All trash after first boss is counted, you'd have to ask the developers of raidlogs for private servers why timer for speedrun dosent start at first trash pull :D
