The police @ 73rd pct are a big part of the reason crime flourished in Brownsville since the turn of the 20th century. A lot of corrupt police were removed, but until this day that Pct still has too many corrupt police in it. However, it did make a big difference in crime in the area & personal safety; when the corruption was reduced, new single family houses replaced overgrown lots & new residents with less tolerance for mediocrity ,began fighting & speaking out against the ills of the neighborhood, along side long time residents. Yeah I work around there and never had any problems either
mixtape_events_dj Award Winner I work there everyday and I’m out with the people if you don’t act like a punk then you don’t get bothered... and who are you?
@@MOONEYDashCam sounds like an asshole to me. Ive been working on Junius st since 95. How bad the area is depends on where your standing and what time your standing there. Commercial or industrial areas during the day are fine.
pclutch yeah that’s what I’m saying
Stay in Yo Line and don’t go outside at night and you aight
wow the closed caption works great
for the most part
And for the record yes I’d still move to Brownsville I’m just too uptown at this point so I’m cool on the ville but the k is lit fr
The place seems so flat. Amazing 👍
And if you do get shot, don't go to Brookdale!
I did enjoy thanks👍
SPARK IT UP AND SMOKE THAT MARY JANE. FROM SA * TEXAS TO YOU
The iron triangle should be bombville lol love it tho.
Very true
I lived right next door in east ny and that whole area is rough as fuck.

Middle school to the left at 11:39 Actor Omar Epps mom was principle of this school🥰
The valves are really clattering on the truck.
It was an exhaust leak
@@MOONEYDashCam - That’ll cause clatter, glad ya caught it… Cool channel BTW! Ever think of showing us some of the locations associated with the Howard Stern Show? Even a Dominic Barbara (Howie’s hotshot lawyer friend) story and a drive past one of his former Long Island mansions would deliver you a truckload of traffic to your channel…. Dominic’s fall from grace is an interesting story…
You didn't tell us the name of any of the projects you drove by :(
I worked in Brownsville on Saratoga and Riverdale aves, never been afraid and I was working at night. I think the 73rd precinct is around there, not sure. Just watch your back and be vigilant no matter where you go. Yes it has the highest concentration of housing projects but I have never had a reason to fear anything. It was worse back in the day, but it's surely gotten much better plus the urban renewal aka gentrification has played a part in the shift of demographics as well. Plenty of Asian, white and immigrants are moving in.
I agree I work in that area also and have never had a problem I was just reporting the stats I was reading I was as shocked as anyone learning how dangerous it could be
@@MOONEYDashCam Oh yeah it was bad back in the days, just think to Lean On Me and Coming To America...that's how rough it was especially during the crack epidemic.
Wasn't East New York ?
I hated goin to that little ugly green clinic on rockaway when I was a kid.
