Frigate "Bayern" takes off into the Indo-Pacific

On September 2, 2020, the federal cabinet approved the German Indo-Pacific guidelines. They also talk about a "maritime presence" in the region. The dispatch of a frigate was delayed by Corona. Before the actual farewell to the frigate "Bayern", Defense Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer AKK presented a book for soldiers' families to read. There are two versions of this: a thin book for the parent on assignment abroad and a thick book for the children at home.
