    "We didn't score 12 touchdowns last year" and neither did Aaron Hernandez. He scored 12 TDs over his entire college career (3 seasons)... not 1 year lol. The writers of this show didn't even do a basic wikipedia search.

      Or maybe that was fully intentional, since it’s pretty in character for someone as narcissistic as Hernandez to lie about how good his stats were (or, y’know, whether he killed a man)

      @@ChaseSecurityit’s actually solid. Not great but a solid show. It is funny tho how a lot of the characters don’t look like athletes. Like the guy who played Cam looked like he was 5-10 170lbs. That being said the acting from the main characters is pretty solid and the writings good (despite obv getting some things wrong). The guy who plays urban nailed it

    Aaron Hernandez was legit 1st-round talent coming out of Florida, although he was way too risky for a number of NFL teams. The only team to take a tight end in the 1st round that year, 2010, was the Cincinnati Bengals, who refused to even put Hernandez on their draft board. Anyone who knows pro football knows that a 1st-round talent falling all the way down to the 4th round, where Hernandez was eventually picked, likely has something seriously wrong with them.

    • @tw5139
      @tw5139 Месяц назад +2

      His ability was highly overblown. He benefited from Gronkowski being constantly double teamed, while he was always one on one. At Florida, he also was about the 4th threat on that offense, so he was again always one on one. 4th round was about right.

What a great example of a human being! Completely deserves a crappy series to add to his legacy.

      didn't happen exactly like this but that's sort of the nature dramatic reenactments. A lot of characters are technically hodgepodges of several characters. But I don't think he was ever seriously told he was going to be a top 10 pick by a serious agent. they were just trying to have a scene which reflected the reality that his behavior in college and his reputation was tanking his draft stock
