Exactly the same emotion for me. It visualizes for me what it must feel like for Jesus when I give into sin after I've been trying and trying to stay away from a specific one for some time. To knowingly commit the same sin over and over for a couple minutes of satisfaction is so disappointing. In temptation I just replay this scene in my head and then, just like that it isn't worth it.
When I edited that part of the video, even while I was putting it together in my head, last minute at 3 in the morning, I was crying; I hadn't even put it together yet, it was still mystery to me how to end this video. This is the only time when I have ever cried over my work, and that moment when Jesus says those words spoke to me because I can also relate. To anyone that has cried over my work, thank you. If I can make one person feel something, anything, over what I am trying to create, then I know I have done my job. Thank you so much.
I can't help but crying, wondering if Jesus has ever said that of me or of anyone when falling into sin... Or while putting something before worshipping or following with th WHOLE LIFE
@@elenarodriguezvidal4058 I agree those words scared me because it’s a sobering reality that we could be in the same scenario as him. I hope I’m not I wanna live and die for our lord
Yes at the time when Jesus hugs Nicodemus or Mary I felt They are so so so blessed. Even for the fact that they are able to speak to God Himself face to face. I just wonder how Moses, n Manoah, the disciples, Nicodemus and even Paul felt as they spoken to God face to face. ❤
What a blessings to hug and kiss Jesus hand. It must be something out of this world. All who lived during the 33 years that Jesus lived on earth are so lucky. Lucky if they believed in him and accepted his word!✝️✝️✝️
My eyes water just thinking about the regret that Nicodemus must have lived with for the rest of his life. His love for Jesus was rewarded in his death. I am sure that Christ was there when he opened his eyes in Paradise. ❤️
I am thinking that too. What after his death? He was not a hypocrite. He a really finding God and believing him in his heart. He believed him. He just could not go with him due to his position and his greed for that. But he was a rightful person. Hope Jesus would be the one who would hold him after his death.

"not being able to join Jesus"... no, not choosing to join Jesus. Would his life turn upside down? Yes, but Jesus talks that way for us all in the gospels. Jesus says whoever leaves father, mother, wife, children, friends etc... for the gospels receive the blessing, and those who do not, cannot be his disciples. That is how Jesus speaks in the gospels. Jesus says in Luke 14:31-36 will not a king that has 10,000 men seeing his enemy coming with 20,000 men seek for terms of peace while he is far away yet? Jesus says in the same way, whosoever does not give up everything, cannot be my disciple. Yes, Nicodemus would have had his life turned upside down to join Jesus IF HE CHOSE TO DO SO.
I weep every time I seen the seen with Jesus on the Roof and at the Fountain. It’s for all of us that were Lost and found Jesus and his Love for Man. Erick came out of retirement to do this role. We are blessed for it it
This would be more heartbreaking once we get further into the story. Imagine Jesus's trial, Nicodemus, there, doing nothing while they punch, slap, mock and spit at the Son of God. Imagine the guilt building up, imagine how he would see, how the anciety of betraying by only watching the Son get that treatment. Then after that night, he's just...dead, no more. Imagine how you wanted, how you struggled, how you trusted, how you really believed in that person, and now he is dead. The man is shattered at that point, the Messiah, GOD, died. Imagine Nicodemus, not at the morning of the resurection, but the day his heart was crushed. If they can nail that(no pun intended) humanity when Jesus died, it would bring everyone to tears.
This is my favorite scene so far. I can feel the sincerity of Nicodemus. He was truly looking for the Messiah. His life was forever changed after meeting Jesus. He believed. But he couldn’t let go of the his life. His soul was in anguish as tears flowed. God bless him. We all struggle in some way. I love this series. God bless all who watch. ♥️
Sir, you took the thoughts right out of my head this morning. I was thinking I would love a timeline of Nicodemus journey from episode 1 thru to 8. God loves humility for He is a Humble God. He sent Jesus, The Son of God to Serve (through his sacrifice on the cross and rose on the cross 3 days later) and not be served. one of the most powerful and moving scenes I have ever witnessed was the meeting on the rooftop..But this wasn't just about Nicodemus and Christ 2000 years ago... doesn't the character interaction he portrayed suit all of us Christians to a tee??? We have the wonderful knowledge that Christ Died for us and was resurrected , and yet still, everyday in our Christian walk.. we hear the voice " follow me" and we make excuses .. I cannot leave my executive job, etc... to do what is in our hearts..I replay that scene over and over.. so very beautiful and for 2021, so very convicting...
I love our father. He understands us, and the light he has put in each of our hearts, makes us weep when we feel his presence. No matter if we sin, or fall, or fail. He still loves us. He wants us and never stops calling us to his arms. No matter how many times we turn from him, he never turns from us
Every time I see this scene I want to cry. How many times have we turned away from following Jesus, given a token of money, then turned away at the end. We should be seeing him at the dinner feast in heaven. He was there for Jesus's burial and there's a reason why his name is mentioned. He brought out the most beautiful words of our salvation from Jesus.
I hope Nicodemus eventually came to follow Christ. I don’t think the Bible or any historical texts say what became of him. But the part of the Bible that he’s in he seems like he was a genuinely open minded man when came to the Messiah.
So beautifully done, although I wish that the name of Jesus could have been spoken by a few of the characters. After the few times the question was asked, “what is His name?”-it would have been wonderful to add, “Jesus. Jesus. It’s Jesus!” I shared this with a group of approximately 40 people-that I send scripture to every week. Thank you for sharing your talents in putting it together. 🙌🏼✨

Your Welcome.
I think many of us are just like Nicodemus, trying our bestand yet still failing, but never losing hope nor love for Jesus Christ.
I really felt sad for him❤️😔he came sooo close....thar hurt me 😔❤️❤️❤️....he was a good man
God Bless You Nicodemus , You Knew Christ! My Heart and tears well!!
So well done. Thank you! 🐟🥖
We’ve all got a bit of Nicodemus in us. That’s why it resonates. ( Somewhere, in the kingdom of heaven, Nicodemus is filled with life).
Literally made me cry
SO BEAUTIFUL !!!! SO PRESCIOUS !!!!
Matthew19:26
With God all things are possible
Nicodemus FOLLOWED our Lord Jesus and I believe he is in Heaven since he helped bury our Lord.
Don’t die without knowing the lord JESUS 🥺😭🙌
This is beautiful! Thank you for making and sharing it with us.
I didn't think to subscribe when I first viewed this. I've done so now so that I can watch future videos. Thanks, again.
I was beyond heartbroken that Nico didn't go with Jesus. I have been thinking about that scene a lot.
Amazing edit. Amazing
I hope Nicodemus eventually came to follow Christ. I don’t think the Bible or any historical texts say what became of him. But the part of the Bible that he’s in he seems like he was a genuinely open minded man when came to the Messiah.
Thank you guys for understanding... "It was just a thought"
Haha... "just"
10 out of 10 for this edit. 💪
Thank you!!
I didn’t know there were The Chosen videos like this O:
Very well made video!
thank you for walking your journey, Nicodemus~
It’s more than beautiful
So beautifully done, although I wish that the name of Jesus could have been spoken by a few of the characters. After the few times the question was asked, “what is His name?”-it would have been wonderful to add, “Jesus. Jesus. It’s Jesus!” I shared this with a group of approximately 40 people-that I send scripture to every week. Thank you for sharing your talents in putting it together. 🙌🏼✨
So well done!
Perfection!
Thank you!!
