- I've never driven the SRT Tomahawk in Gran Turismo before and this is easily the hardest car I've ever driven "While using a controller" in any game. I was even driving it around the easiest tracks in the game. This 370mph SRT Tomahawk is certainly a handful but I'm looking forward to learning how it works so I can truly push it to the limits in the future.

Such a weird yet accurate analogy
In real life the aero bits would be ripped apart from the car by the wind because they are attached with thin hydrolic pistons. It would be flying metal projectiles to people around the track lol

The tires are theoretically durable to withstand the force of the steering. In reality it would break the tires immediately.
@@rosaria8384 not if they've been specially designed for it they wouldn't....well...not after one or two laps anyways....it would take a certain amount of miles to do so....which isn't very many 😂😂😂😂 like with the bugatti veyron, it would take a certain amount of time to deplete it's fuel at its top speed, I can't remember what thst was, but it's tyres would blow before that......the car would maintain a couple of laps before they were too worn...it's only a concept car to say "we can do this".....
It's mainly the aero that lets it do what it can do....also specially designed tyres ...though they'd only last a couple laps just to make an impression
It’s downforce, aerodynamic not grip. It could spin out and wreck itself if the car was on a lower speed, or raced in an much higher altitude where air is thinner.
The straights allow you to regain consciousness after the curves

I believe that those speeds aren't compatible with the human body... Seeing as this old Mazda broke the ribs of it's drivers on a straight line, a suit that prevents human-liquifying in that SRT Tomahawk is absolutely impossible.
In gt6 and GT sport there were tomohawk g force race suits you could wear. Supposed to be the explanation on how you can drive it safely.

There’s a part of me that says “yes, let’s build this thing,” but the reasonable part says to keep this one in the drafts. Imagine sliding, spinning, or getting pitted by another Tomahawk at 350mph. Still, I wanna see this thing shatter lap times at Spa, Silverstone, and the Nurburgring.

Fun fact: Drivers must use G-suit (suit that jet fighter pilots used) and wears oxygen mask to drive the car since drivers may experience more than 10G of force during over 550km/h cornering. Also the car has its own oxygen tank for drivers to use while driving

@@RobNik_ have to be same grade as aircrafts. Jumbo jets land at like 400 mph. It's essentially a fighter jet in car form.

Dodge says that they can't build this car and no one can drive it, but it's an interesting concept that they can keep on researching. It's like how Red Bull designed the X2010 formula racer, possible but undrivable by any human.

Joe, you can map the overtake button on the game (that controls things like DRS and ERS) and on this car all those flaps retract, I think this is still works tho, I'm saying from my experience on GT Sport
I already have everything mapped out.. For some reason, this car doesn't come with it anymore (And you can't apply Nitrous to it either)

I remember the original tomahawk. Was a 4 wheeled motorcycle with a viper engine. Only 2 were made and they cost 500k. They lost money on it.

Yea, SRT Tomahawk has infinite built-in Nitro, except the Gr.1. I recommended if you are driving in a straight line. You gain mph faster but costs some handling. Also, the Tomahawk X can go over 465mph

There is a button on the srt tomahawk that you can tuck in the flaps to go even faster to go about 430+ mph I tried this car on GT6 and it was out of this world it broke the sound barrier in that game

hey, great video. I think u coulda have went faster on the straight if u retracted the flaps. I remember in GT6 there was a button for that and the car would go faster because of less drag. Dont know if that option still exists but i'd guess so
It had no option for them, It didn't have the overtake feature either (And you couldn't apply nitrous) I went through most things within configuration and tuning and nothing was there. :/
