"I've got a screw and an 'little' hammer here..." I freaking lost it... 🤣😂 Awesome video Sam...gonna get me some lead right away! 😂 (btw, the one with the tyre-fitting was really good 👏🏻). Thanks a lot for the awesome entertainment you keep providing! 🤘🏻
As coronavirus quarantine continues I've been been starting maintenance on my bikes... Thanks for the ten useful tips! I'll definitely be trying these...
I heard that wrapping also your suspension in led makes it run perfect, and it doesn't need maintenance, specially your stentions. Steele is also fine👍
I was going to say at least nobody will have anything to whine about after this video but a quick read through the comments and it turns out I was wrong 😂Jeez it's definitely right that you can't please everyone but hey some of us appreciate the time and effort and enjoy this FREE content. Keep them coming please Sam and Lewi 👌🤘
Man Sam.. your vids keeps gettin even better and better for each upload, i thought it was the most entertaining MTB chanel 2 years ago.. The dreams man.. stay safe.. cant wait for your ONE MIL subs..
I wished i could ride with you Sam, Tom and Lube. I literally have no friends so i just ride on my own all the time. Love your videos. Waiting for the dry weather before i take my new bike out i got last year. It's just been sitting in the spare bedroom since.
We're more lonely nowadays than previous generations sadly. I think they say 18 - 35 year olds are the loneliest age group, only top trumped by the elderly.
@@chilli-iceolive-abode2447 I totally agree with that. I'm just 31 and i dont get out to see anyone as theres no one for me to see. But at least i have my health, and a bike to ride through the countryside.
@@mistylands1534 I'm 30 and in a pretty similar situation 😔 I go out for work and that's it. I used to look forward to the weekends, but now they just seem so long.
Also something worth mentioning is that sram derailleurs have a little button to keep the derailleur in a position that you can put the chain back in more efficiently
My jaw is actually hurting from laughing, awesome vid Sam, we need more bike maintenance tips and hacks to take into out brsins and use.. DREAMS 👍👌🚴♂️🛠️
What is this sorcery! Just had to swap out a tube and the valve/tyre trick worked! For years everytime I put my tyre back I had to prepare for an argument ... last time I had 3 tyre levers and still nearly threw the wheel across the garden, thanks Pilg
Love the tips Sam, maybe we should all use lead for added stability too lol. That was quite impressive though. Also, for the first tip, I use zip ties to hold the chain together, then cut it off. Love zip ties Almost as much as I love you videos 😃
seeing the vids you do sam made me get back into downhill/urban freeride and not 2 hours ago i just order a new DH bike the almighty kona Supreme Operator hope to see you on the trails one day!
Ha awesome stuff, a genuine tip for added puncture protection is get an old inner tuber, cut the valve off and slit it around the inside, part inflate your new tuber and put the old one on it like a cover..
Have nothing but mad respect for you Sam, but cutting the spoke out of a perfectly good wheel is absolutely maddening. Most of us here would kill to have that wheel on our ride.
Nobody..
Sam:"we need a spoke" **cuts a perfect spoke from a perfect wheel**
And he have like 20 Walmart bikes
I've always just used a metal coat hanger, but if he wants to ruin a wheel ok.
Makes for better viewing than "here's one i found earlier " and fuck it anyway. Sams got spare wheels aplenty.
žiža walmart bikes? You mean halfords bikes.
in seth bike hacks e just uses his shoe lace
When Sam looks at the screw and says “how?!?!” 😂😂😂 😂😂😂 so good
mark f conti tire failed again 🤣
*hello*
The lead also has the added benefit of acting as a radiation shield, someone call Nukeproof!
Yeah especially thats how it is with ever normal tire witj just air inside because the screw seals it so his hack only ads weight 😂
number 2 ‘if you get mugged they wont steal ur cash’ , if ur being mugged they would take the bike 😂
Ben h yeah we thought about that after hahah
I thought he means you can hide your weed
Sam Pilgrim one day your parents should be on the channel are they as hyped as you? Stay EPIC 😎😄😃👍
Why not just ride away if they're trying to mug you lol? Unless they're on a bike too.
Smoked Salmon Good point! If you’re on a nice bike, cut them with your disc brake 😂
“added a little bit of weight to the tyre” “it actually works, that is the best thing EVER” 😂🤣😂🤣😂

Thx Sam. Currently teaching my cat to bark so i can take him walkies without drawing too much attention. gets me a bit more exercise eh.
Im not an Extreme mountainbiker, but this guy just makes me smile 🤗🤗🤗🤗🌞👍🏻 and what a talent 😀
I’ve used that tube hack and it works like the a dream. I’m glad you did a tube hack because not every single person in the whole world runs tubeless.
RoyalMiguel1738 ! No
As coronavirus quarantine continues I've been been starting maintenance on my bikes... Thanks for the ten useful tips! I'll definitely be trying these...
when all you have is a hammer , everything looks like a nail .
You almost killed me with your picture 😂🤣
Carbon frame. Lead tires. Heavenly match.
Me : gets all the right tools to do stuff
Sam: I’m gonna use a curb
It's so free..
SuperJeRoT lol
Martyn Ashton: "Hacks and bodges, hacks and bodges, hacks and bodges..."
The curb file "...so free, and brings you out into the nature and stuff" :D
Wonder how to use the " OH NO I'VE LOST MY FILE " when you cut your fork like Max fredriksson did 😂😂
You hang it out your car as you drive lmao
It amazes me they let these riders do their own maintenance/builds. They're athletes not mechanics! Somebody get these guys a factory mechanic!
@@KDub3911 I mean, you only need a small amount of mechanical knowledge to do this stuff. Just my opinion though.
This thumbnail is pure greatness.
Silas Downhill 😁😁
A painful Percival happens when you miss your pedals as you land 😂
Man, thanks a million for the tires tip, as I am always killing myself in changing tires with the little levers... Thanks Same matey... Big hug!! Dan
Had to double check it wasn’t still April the first 😂
I think it's within the 'April the 1st Week' ...
Thanks Sam and Louis. Life's crazy and your vids always cheer me up 😁. Thanks again.
This is the best 10 bike chacks i've ever seen
Pilgs Protection is the ONLY, EVER, TOTAL DREAM!! N°10 is the bombshell of all bombshells mate. Farkin' brilliant!
11:00 The moment Sam realises he’s done an oopsie 😂
when you use your pipe cutter you should always spin towards the cutting wheel/open end...makes for a easier and more precise cut! DREAMS!!!
I heard that wrapping also your suspension in led makes it run perfect, and it doesn't need maintenance, specially your stentions.
Steele is also fine👍

It's videos like this we need when we are confined to our own homes thank you👍👍 might need a tool set unless you have any alternatives😂
Sp is right! I put lead in all my tires! truck, cars, bikes, motorcycles, mower. Absolutely brilliant! Wish i would if thought of this before 😁
I miss "California-Dude"))) Anyway, vid is EPIC!!!
My favourite is obviously the excellent and efficient Pilgrim Protection!! 🤣🤣 To the skyyyyyy!
Dudeeeee sick! I’m totally using all of these!
Man Sam.. your vids keeps gettin even better and better for each upload, i thought it was the most entertaining MTB chanel 2 years ago.. The dreams man.. stay safe.. cant wait for your ONE MIL subs..
Sam said a few vids ago, “some off you have been complaining about the grips that’s besc you haven’t used the right tool on them” also Sam
Couldn't live without your videos sam. your the best

Sam: little hammer 🔨
Me: big hammer 🔨
literally wearing down the curb from all the sanding from so many forks xD legend!
Sam: "how we will fix this bike?"
Also Sam: "we will destroy another bike for that!"
Also something worth mentioning is that sram derailleurs have a little button to keep the derailleur in a position that you can put the chain back in more efficiently
Lead in your tyres 😂😂😂 I bet that’s hilarious to ride 😂
That tire seating magic tick gets me every time.
"Now I'm switching my bike back in to freak mode."- Nate Dogg
I love how you said, *first you need led* 😅😅😅how good man
Key word I heard at the beginning - Bodges! I know it would be intertaining lol
phal44 🤙🏻
Brilliant, Sam's face when that screw sank itself upto its shoulder in the tyre :D , and that spoke hack is genius
2:05 the vibrations will get it out
This made my day. Thanks Sam. Keep it up
"So we need a spoke " goes and cuts a spoke of a perfectly good bike and wheel
I think he meant to say... when your friend isn't looking go cut one of their spokes... :)
LOVE your ghetto bike hacks! They are awesome!
Except cutting a perfect spoke and not using some random wire from your garage.
Sam: don’t ask for your parents permission when going on the roof for led
Me:😈😈
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST TIPS EVER. THE BEST PILLNIQUE GEEZER EVER 😎
10:34 little hammer?
He is so close to hitting 1 million!!!!!! congratulations
But but...... Sam you just cut the Spoke 0:51 😟
A halo wheel too😥
That was a sick video, Sam! I'm trying THE SLICK 100% !
"painful percival"
The best bike maintenance video I've ever seen.
Sam, can you wheelie with lead in your front wheel?
Just imagine the outrage you’d cause to the weight weenie roadie brigade 🤣
Weight weenie roadie brigade?! Throw in most of teh BMX bandits into that category, they moan about weight too.
The lead makes it ultra lightweight 😂 🤣😂🤣😂
Benjamin Whitehead. I was said roadie 2 years ago, boring as fuck though and twice as deadly down to idiot drivers. MTB only rider now 👍🏻
The lead and the uncontrollable laughter! 🤣🤣🤣
When it says 23 seconds ago
When there no other way to start a sentence
Only 50% of why I watch Sam's videos is for the biking. The other 50% is for the comedy! Keep it up, Sam!
i’m not 100% sure we should be taking maintenance advice from someone that uses the pavement as a file...
It’s actually the best video ever 👍😂😄. Love it !
that guy is the one, who really knows how ho maintain a bike!

The spoke in the chain will be so usefull for me. Thanks 🤟👍
You guys remind me of when I was a kid love it.
