After doing the math, it DOES seem like every FNAF game is shorter than the last, why is this? I have absolutely no idea but the first six FNAF games get shorter and shorter, what does this mean for speedrunning? How are FNAF speedruns even a real thing?

RUclipsr named AstralSpiff just recently posted an edited video of his 19 hour vod where he beat every main fnaf game as well as all the spinoffs in one go. Would highly recommend.

They may be shorter, but it dosent change how effing hard they are. So you're still spending HOURS when you play the first time.

for fnaf 1: nights last 9 minutes, as said
for fnaf 2: due to the intense amouth of animatronics, its 6 minutes per night
repeat for 3 & 4
for sister location, scotts open worlding made it heavely speedrunnable, so it should have been counted as higher.
Pizzarea simulator does not have set night times, and tasks can be completed speedrunnedly

Fnaf 6 actually sounds like a cool game to speedrun and makes sense why it's so short when your goal is to go as fast as you can

There getting shorter because they get harder with the new mechanics they add like the reason fnaf 4 is so short is because most people found it extremely difficult when it first came out including me and fnaf 3 isnt hard at the first few nights and then gets extremely difficult sister location is decently hard but extremely hard if its your first playthrough so basically as the games get harder they get shorter

For the ucn speed run, you have to do all the challenges on the side bar except 50/20

Fun fact there was a new speed run of someone beating every fnaf game and it came out to around 19 hours almost 20 to beat every game. This was done by a streamer named “AstralSpiff”

skipping cutscenes as fast as you can, not dying for fnaf 1,2 and 3 and for the 4th, win plushtrap minigame in one shot i belive

I think its just speedrunners finding the optimal strategy and for the early games it must have been harder to really "skip" anything than newer ones? I mean it's not a bad strategy since not everyone would want to play for the same length of time and some would like to skip parts of it yk
Well it does make sense. 4 lets you skip a good chunk of the nights, 5 has no timer, and 6 is a simulator

They are also getting way less scarier to be called a horror game anymore. The only thing recently from fnaf that sounds kinda scary is into the pit
Bro dropped the cleanest transition and thought we wouldn't notice.
Something I'd take into consideration is different endings in later installments (more specifically PizzaSim and Security Breach) as different endings will have different lengths (not so severe in FNAF:SB but still a difference).
pizza sim can be completed in 14 mins, yet I still have 26.5 hours of play time on it
