It makes you feel hopeless with her you know? It's tragic that she's losing it and everyone takes it as normal. I think i see why people loved this

And Zooble just ran out of fucks to give in the first place and doesn’t give a shit anymore.

And this song it's literally that. In the brink of breaking down, but still keeps rocking with a smile. After all there is a not so gleeful fate in store for those who lose their minds. It's like the song is saying: "I know you're confused and scared, but i promise that you will have a great time here! I promise! Please stop crying..." You can also see that in Pomni in the screen. As the song keeps going, she progressively loses it, ending up in fetal position in the end of the song. While the song tries it's best to sound gleeful and happy going.
As a HUGE fan of Popee the Performer, I can tell this series is going to be amazing. This theme is so bouncy and fun, yet has that disturbing undertone to it. Absolutely perfect, nice job Gooseworx.

I really like the dissonance between the cheerful circus-sounding theme song and Pomni's terror and confusion. It really sets the mood of "colorful and fun but disturbing underneath" very well. I'm so excited. ^^ I feel bad for Pomni and the other trapped characters though.

Y'know before the pilot we only ever knew Caine and Pomni, this show could have been anything! Knowing Gooseworx, I thought that it'd be a collection of *circus* bits involving Pomni being put into various predicaments all broadcast on the TVs around the same city Elaine and The Ghost Awards took place and whatnot... like a replacement for the Darly Boxman Show! I'm happy that it still falls under Gooseworx' iconic way of storytelling. Character we were all teased about for months on end, unable to know who is who and what they do. Or even the overall plot! So now that we're 4 episodes deep, I sure am excited to see what happens next, because for all we know? It could be someplace totally new, or all hell breaks loose.

The pilot now has almost freaking 80 million views in less than a month, that is not worthy of the title underrated. Plus goosewrox’s channel is closing in at almost a million subs. So, yay gooseworx more famous than ever now.

I love that behind the fun brass, there’s something of an augural or just ominous choir there. It’s beautiful, and it related to how the show is supposed to be all fun on the surface, but then you dig a bit and get darker stuff. I really like that
I think it's also a callback to the kind of cheap midi soundfonts these kinds of old CD rom games would use. The whole asthetic is very much like an uncanny version of those old CD games.

I so, so, so love the contrast between Digital Circus' and Murder Drones' mascots. The Murder Drones' main theme had V looking all badass and menacing while the theme plays. Digital Circus has Pomni look confused and nervous about everything, I love it!
You can tell that Pomni will be the most cool calm and collective character. Also I love the early cgi style to everything. It looks like early demo reals which themselves were creepy with a coat of high contrast color in an attempt to make them not look creepy. Love it!
I really love the feeling of this show. I feel like a kid again. everything is so silly and wacky, but with a pinch of insanity hidden at the bottom of the box. so much mysteries. and the characters are so well made too. i'm excited to see more.
This show really does capture an old school sense of whimsy with still some darker and foreboding undertones. If I had one criticism, i do feel maybe they played their full decks a little too soon, introducing the horror aspects earlier. But that’s just me, perhaps this serious will surprise me yet.
Hearing the choir at 1:24 adds a nice touch when going into a mental breakdown and having a deep dive into insanity. Just another manic day in The Amazing Digital Circus!

This is definitely amazing! (no pun intended) You put a lot of time and effort into this Gooseworx as it really does have the sound and feel for the opening to a 90s game. But also the little idle animations for Pomni going slowly insane as the main theme goes on is a really nice touch to this.
This is really good. It's like an ever-so-slightly uncanny version of those old CD rom games' theme songs, which feels like exactly what it was aiming for. I love how oddly specific this show's theme seems to be, like I can't imagine too many kids these days even know what its referencing, but maybe that even adds to the slightly-off surrealism.
Makes me feel like I'm experiencing the internet again like I did for the first time. Meeting new strangers online, getting to play weird, random games with these people who you will never meet in real life, cracking jokes and acting as though you're completely separate people from who you are in real life. I was around in the earlier times of the internet and it wasn’t really like that for me. It was silly and fun but in the early 2000s most kids had a friend group that they would regularly see IRL. The internet actually wasn’t that big and it was possible to get bored. Real life was still more interesting unless you were addicted to a game like WoW or CoD or something. Smartphones didn’t exist and WiFi wasn’t everywhere so the internet didn’t follow you around outside the house. Social media was used to coordinate with people who you saw in real life and meeting strangers was out of the question. Also nobody had photos of themselves online. Even back then we knew they could be used for bad purposes. You’d only have a few MySpace photos at most. It wasn’t until Facebook that it became normal to have a bunch of pictures of yourself online. I had a few photos of my friends cosplaying and that was it lol.
I think it's pretty obvious, but because it's composed in a certain way that makes it sound all joyful and upbeat like a "circus theme" but also giving the listener a feeling that the song is looping itself, which gives you that feeling of slowly going insane, which is the entire premise of the show. I really liked this theme, can't wait for the next episode of the show 🙌
Everything about this show from the trailer to the music to the aesthetic and the visuals just all combines into a weird unsettling atmosphere that I think is exactly what they're looking for.
The orchestra in the backround after 1:20 really gives off the vibe that something isn't quite right behind all of the fun and whimsical chorus. I absolutely love this and I think it describes the show very well

I really love the feeling of this show. I feel like a kid again. everything is so silly and wacky, but with a pinch of insanity hidden at the bottom of the box. so much mysteries. and the characters are so well made too. i'm excited to see more.
This show really does capture an old school sense of whimsy with still some darker and foreboding undertones. If I had one criticism, i do feel maybe they played their full decks a little too soon, introducing the horror aspects earlier. But that’s just me, perhaps this serious will surprise me yet.

This is definitely amazing! (no pun intended) You put a lot of time and effort into this Gooseworx as it really does have the sound and feel for the opening to a 90s game. But also the little idle animations for Pomni going slowly insane as the main theme goes on is a really nice touch to this.

This is really good. It's like an ever-so-slightly uncanny version of those old CD rom games' theme songs, which feels like exactly what it was aiming for. I love how oddly specific this show's theme seems to be, like I can't imagine too many kids these days even know what its referencing, but maybe that even adds to the slightly-off surrealism.

I was around in the earlier times of the internet and it wasn’t really like that for me. It was silly and fun but in the early 2000s most kids had a friend group that they would regularly see IRL. The internet actually wasn’t that big and it was possible to get bored. Real life was still more interesting unless you were addicted to a game like WoW or CoD or something. Smartphones didn’t exist and WiFi wasn’t everywhere so the internet didn’t follow you around outside the house. Social media was used to coordinate with people who you saw in real life and meeting strangers was out of the question.
Also nobody had photos of themselves online. Even back then we knew they could be used for bad purposes. You’d only have a few MySpace photos at most. It wasn’t until Facebook that it became normal to have a bunch of pictures of yourself online. I had a few photos of my friends cosplaying and that was it lol.
Those times were awesome just playing random games and having fun with no worries at all.
I think it's pretty obvious, but because it's composed in a certain way that makes it sound all joyful and upbeat like a "circus theme" but also giving the listener a feeling that the song is looping itself, which gives you that feeling of slowly going insane, which is the entire premise of the show. I really liked this theme, can't wait for the next episode of the show 🙌
