Great info Rick…..always learning. Your Hoochie that you showed….what is the brand and I think you pour your own jig heads for them, but those of us that need to buy dart style jig heads do you suggest a location to do so? I see that Gama sells some 1/4 Oz but the hooks shanks are so short it seems. Cheers 🎉
@@fdl362 it can definitely fire them up! Gel scents or the paste is best for a spinner. I use it on the tips of the skirt or just on the hook and not get it on the blades to mess the spin up
@@holdenclark2894 Thanks, I honestly never understood the need. When you can get biting fish to bite, why snag and ruin the area for yourself or everyone around. Not to mention being illegal. There are some great ways to drift that get fish to bite too, some fun ahead with bait!
@whatsgood3845 they are different. You can drift fish and not snag or floss. It is a legit method of fishing. People just don't know the difference sometimes and make dumb comments like above.
@@cking2063 you absolutely can for getting some distance on your casts to the jumping schools. I like the flying C spinners too for added weight to chase fish. Good luck!!

I thought drift fishing and snagging were two different things correctly me if I’m wrong
@@whatsgood3845 they very much so are, but in most cases people do use drift fishing to snag using long leaders and yanking through the runs
Yes I agree then all the fish are spooked exactly I completely agree

Puyallup river?
Not in the video no but this would work there I’m sure as well. This rain is going to help everyone
How about using buzz bombs with a hoochie squid in the river? Fishing the Snohomish.
I just hope the rain moves these fish, been going every weekend (Stilly and Snoho) for the last 3 weekends and only have one fish 😂😂
