Samsung miserablly failed at fold phone business with their wrong judgment on the screen ratio. When fold, the screen is so small that no one can actually use it.

@@dannywinget Assuming you meant the Fold6. No, this isn't better. The Z Fold6 is the pinnacle of what really matters in a foldable: software; plus, the hardware certainly is competitive. People who say the front screen is unusable are trolls who have obviously never used the Fold6 (or any Fold, for that matter), but then rave about a Moto Flip's "massive" 2" screen. 😂
I love it!! I am an iPhone guy but still can really love and appreciate the Android companies! Good Job Google on the design

I don't know why manufacturers are refusing to put flagship cameras in Folds. I'm paying £1800, I should get the best camera.

This phone is simply magnificent, seen it in person today at T-Mobile and it completely shocked me and distracted me from why I went up there, it's so gorgeous

I got one. I love it. The camera and back camera selfies are lights out amazing. The software is snappy, and it's a joy to use closed and open.
It feels premium, it acts premium. We are back to flagship status, let's go

@@JZF629 Only do it have you have time and some level of peace from your job/school etc. Otherwise, it’ll be difficult learning a new OS. I tried moving to Android in 2022 when I was under a lot of stress, and it crippled me for the time as I couldn’t use my phone. It was a terrible idea and this turned me off of Android. Don’t make the same mistake; give yourself time.
I’m literally in the same boat haha. I purchased a Samsung s9 ultra tablet earlier this year and I’m obsessed with it. Now I’m just looking for the right android phone and I’m leaning toward the Pixel. Not necessarily the fold though
The compromises made for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold cameras versus the Pixel 9 Pro XL makes me want to wait for future generations.

@@jirawatliw180 it's the same chipset as the Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL though. I think the camera changes were done to prevent the camera bump from being too thick.

What about IP rating and dust resistance. Dust is a big problem for fold phones. Speaking from experience...
IPX8… water resistance but stay FAR away from the beach

same. Luckily we know that next year's g5 will be leagues ahead cause they are moving to tsmc 3 nm processing units. It will match other flagship androids while having the google tpu's!!

Looks great but I’ll wait until the crease isn’t as noticeable and the front display is the same or better quality than the regular pro. Pixel 9 pro for me this year. Hazel is hard to beat as well
If they have a more energy efficient soc next Gen and the camera setup of the 10 Pro the in would consider it. The cam now Is a step back compared to the 7 Pro let alone the 8 and 9 Pro phones.

Since I switched to the Pixel 7, the phone has never got me to want to upgrade it. Pixels are just great phones if you ignore specs, because in terms of usage it's imperceptible. Probably gonna wait till pixel 10

@@myfakeguuglaccount8307 It isn't compact at all, Samsung just did a very lazy job. Thickest foldable of 2024(Honor Magic V3 is 30%(!!!) slimmer), no camera upgrades in last 3 generations...this is just a bad joke. Especially considering the price.

You're right, there's no denying that price. I think because of the limited real estate and thickness, there's no way around it. I justify it, though, because I will be using it WAY more often than I would a MacBook, so it's worth it to me. But yeah. That price is really steep. I was hoping that given time, these foldables would drop in price but we're going the wrong way lol
What about biometrics?? Face unlock, fingerprint sensor (type, location)?
The Fold doesn't get the ultrasonic finger print scanner like the Pixel 9 Series but face unlock is there as usual. The scanner is in the cover screen like the first Fold.

We know from the media that you had to enter into a contract which forces you to present the Pixel Fold as good in order to receive it for free. No one takes that seriously anymore, and neither do they take you seriously.
So you automatically assume nobody's going to have anything nice to say because the people that made the phone were some assholes?
If they make all 3 camera the same 48MP, that would be perfect. (Don’t tell me they can’t, because the Chinese phone maker did just that!)

Can the back camera be used for MS Team Video call when phone is opened? The selfie camera is lower resolution that the back cameras.

pixel fold has always been way better than the galaxy ones. idk what's going on with galaxy man. they're starting to drop their GOAT status. I still rock with them and ill be upgrading from my s22ultra to the s25. but i can see that they're getting complacent.
