I'm really hoping that the good old LAN players get this dub. I like Luna as a gym bro but not as a player. Watching him used to just hurt because he played teros.

the people in 2018 are the same ones that revolutionized dashing, weapon tech, multi hit true combos, etc. not only that but the simply wasn’t as fluid as it is now back then i promise you would’ve also gotten stomped
I really hope they continue making most tournaments online, even with all the drawbacks and cons to it, this tournament format has definitely shown that it's benefited the game's competitive scene as it's easier for more people to participate in tourneys. though I do think that the occasional lan would be good. As for who I think is going to win msi, I'm hoping that Boomie wins it because of how he's struggled to preform in the last few online tourneys and it'd be cool to see him back at lan with a win, but realistically, Godly is probably who I see most likely to if he manages to make the trip, I also feel that Stringray's going to have a surprise run.
I agree I hope the continue to host some of the Tournaments online. I like having the bigger tournaments in person though and maybe this will make the community online tourneys more popular. I would want either Sandstorm or Boomie to win or just like some random old pro. I am surprised that everyone thinks Godly is so good, I need to watch him more.
@@Vondakay Godly is absolutely insane. If you ever watched EU Tournaments from the online era before Godly's rise, you'd say nobody would ever touch Acno. Nowadays, when you see Acno Vs Godly, you almost feel like Acno is the underdog, it's crazy. Godly has great movements, insane option selection and he can effectively control the pace that the game is played like i haven't seen before. The first time i heard about Godly was when he did a Money Match against Simple, after that, he started steamrolling EU. Dude is one of the most exciting players in BH E-Sports atm.
Godly probably won't make it to LAN, same as Pavelski. As for Stingray having a good tournament run, we know he's a great player for quite a while now, i personally wouldn't be surprised if he won. A player that has completely fell off, who popped up around the same time Stingray was on the come-up, is HardyMJ.
I remember watching those old tournaments and being amazed at how great the guys were at the game. But wow, I didn't realize how different the skill gap is now. No wonder old pros are washed these days, the game just isn't the same anymore and it's hard to relearn it
gold level now is the same as in 2017.. I can tell cuz i'm forever gold since the early days of brawlhalla and I'm still doing the exact same thing.. I started with teros Axe nsig and I'm still doing Teros axe Nsig and nothing else 5/6 years later..

I thought this was going to talk about pros in like 2016, not 2018 after dash was implemented. If you think this is bad, watch any set from before scythe was added to the game.
I was watching some 5 year old sets today. It is rough you are right. NoEL on top and LDZ was so ahead of his time. unfortunately there is very little content from pre dash times. I didnt find it as entertaining.

Yeah, i got this in my suggestions and thos whole video is riddled with misinformation and just generally bad takes? Like the entire point of the vid is based on the false assumption that there were no online open bracket majors before covid?
