  • Sometimes a call for one rattlesnake turns into a call for three! This one (kind of, not really) came as a surprise.

      It happens more often than most would think ... However it would not be a reason to become complacent.

    Enjoy your busy season, up here in Montreal we just got 12 inches of snow yesterday. It will be gone by Monday for the eclipse of the sun. As always keep up the good work, I enjoy your videos. Mike from Montreal. PS I know we’re not the only ones that got snow Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine were also quite hard hit.

    Do snakes ever get stuck? They'll go flying into an hole or crevice without concern for what's ahead of them. Occasionally they must get stuck, right?

    Want to thank you for opening up my mind ser on snakes. Grew up Montana, Idaho and Wyoming, with idea of how dangerous rattler are. Sorry to say but I have killed a lot of them. I stopped unless they were around areas with people around. I now have been trying to educate other people about how wrong we were taught about snake. I have never once saw an aggressive snake snake on you show. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

    Really when Nick used the water to get those guys to come out to me the snake was acting as though "what is all the commotion about". Then like an eagle swooping down on an unsuspecting prey he snags them and puts them in one of your buckets. I know you are not trying to hurt these guys and gals. You just want to get them into an environment that is safer for them and for a hooman!

    The use of water to help catch snakes seems obvious. Arizona has a serious water shortage? So using water to extract snakes ?

    • @Hannelore7
      @Hannelore7 10 месяцев назад +6

      Its not that serious of a water problem here.

    No offense dudes but Marissa? Is almost a.snake whisperer.. she's so chill the snakes sense her gentle vibes❤ I worry about the younger man. He's high strung and very stressed. The snakes pick this vibe up in him.😊

    Will peppermint oil help repel snakes around doorways...having issues with a warped door to my travel trailer...crap!!😢 I have peppermjnt oil spray to keep rodents out. But am worried bout snakes coming in.....😮 don't want them. Trying hard to repair door. I actually hate snakes but don't want to hurt anything...but not in my space!!!!

      Idk of anything that really repels snakes. Even commercially made snake repellents don't work, so don't waste your money. You're better off if you know someone who can fix it, bend it or put some flex tape or something like that around it to seal it better.
      It depends on where you live, the climate & terrain if it's a serious threat or not. Many people live in the country, travel and camp and don't have issues with snakes. But obviously if you are in rattlesnake country, it's more of a possibility for you.
      You can look up what kind of snakes live in your area, there's a lot more harmless, nonvenomous ones than venomous ones in most areas. Your game commission page may have more information or your state's dept of natural resources. Sometimes universities also have that kind of information available.
      If it's a serious concern, you can also call the game commission for some advice. I hope that helps. 😊
      They honestly don't want anything to do with us if they can avoid us, but they make mistakes too and get into the wrong place sometimes.

      So..... I have had success with the peppermint oil but...... I use it when I am leaving my property. And I use a lot, enough to make you gag. They slide right out from under my three dollar mobile, I don't think that a little amount will work. Hope that helps some.
