This show was recorded before the passing of Paul Barrere. However, he was too ill at the time to join this segment of the 50th anniversary tour. His loss will forever leave a hole in the hearts of all the Little Feat family and friends.
The Orpheum Theatre music venue is located at 1 Hamilton Place in Boston, Massachusetts. One of the oldest theaters in the United States, it was built in 1852 and was originally known as the Boston Music Hall, the original home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Originally built as a gas light theater, it now has electricity.
Thanks Jim. Great video of a great performance. The audio was as impressive as the video. Bill's vocals were amazing. And all too often Sam's vocals get lost in the mix - not this time. Larry and Teresa always bring something extra when they perform with Little Feat.
There is no other place in this world to be than The Orpheum Theatre for a live music with Great Accousics !
Thanks little feat...you’ve always been my favorite band even tho Lowell and Richie are gone ...something really beautiful about your aging...music stays great!
You are so right
Fed up with the guys for not coming to the UK, I thought nothing stopping me going over for a bit of sight seeing and catching the band in Boston.’got fine seats, just left of Billy Payne . A wonderful gig with a fabulous crowd. Superb filming and audio. Great post. We will miss Paul but the band will roll on. Larry and his Mrs were great btw.
It just don't get better than this.
Brilliant.Larry Campbell a worthy replacement for the great Paul Barrere.Great gig.Love to see them back in UK.Thanks for posting.
Larry is so underrated it's a crime!
Sorry, no one can ever replace Paul...he was the glue all the way back. R.I.P. buddy
@@dansmith9600 Agreed Paul was an integral part of Littlefeat and can't be replaced. But if LF are carrying the torch then they need to find someone that can capture some of Pauls(RIP) magic and Larry in my opinion is a worthy replacement under the circumstances.
My oldest son was Feat's guitar technician for about 10 years, he parted ways with them after Paul Barrere died. The band unceremoniously fired Gabe Ford (drummer and nephew of Robben Ford) after 12 years. It's now the Bill Payne Show. 🙄
gosh rest in Peace Paul :(
thank you for this great show,Little Feat...
Thank You,Jim Becker
Man were did the time go always love this band an we look so old now but they still rock long live little feat

Kenny Gradney’s a stud!
.. life goes on , let them play as long as they want , that's the minimum they deserve ... and they deserve much more
Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this....But to me this is sad. No one loved Little Feat more than me. I first seen them in 1975. No Lowell, Paul, or Richie. No spark, no fire.' Its now Bill Payne and friends. And I don't mean that in a bad way. It just sounds lifeless.
Getting old.....no more Coke for these boys.....sounds old
I tried to see them at Max's Kansas City in yew nork when they first came to the city .... couldn't get near the place ....boy am I old
Oh dear. Not the Little Feat I remember. Play the original albums and forget this.
Like an old boxer who just can't quit. Should have retired years ago. So sad. Saw them all those years ago at the rainbow theatre in London. They were great. Then.
