My family is from pamona. I grew up playing in the woods nearby, and we were afraid of snakes, but that's about it. I didn't even hear about this thing until I became an adult. I've hiked that area of Shawnee many times, and I don't believe I've ever seen more than lizards and box turtles.

Are The Big Muddy Monster and Momo the same Creature?
I was down that way in 1977 . Camped in that park and did a lot of hiking in Shawnee National Forest.
When we were sitting around the campfire one night talking and laughing we heard a cracking up on a bluff across the river. It would stop , crack again and do this s third time until a large tree, obviously pushed down from the bluff into the river. The next morning we were woken up by the sound of an air horn. An elderly hunter was looking for his dog. He told us dogs go missing in the Park/ River area a lot. Seems to me there is something to this story. When I later read an advertisement from the Murphysburo Chamber of Commerce there was a paragraph that read" a large unidentified hairy Beast is reported to roam this area that no Hunters gun can stop or Stagger". There were newspaper article about a Carnival that was in the area in the early 1900s that was having trouble with a beast stalking the ponies that were corralled near the woods. Night watchmen went to investigate and what they claimed to see resembled a Bigfoot like creature.

The story was and is years ago back in 1971 I think an elderly man was telling me a Murfreesboro cop was down by the lil river there with not his wife but his side girlfriend and they both seen it it rocked their cop car he called back up he had to take the woman home before he got busted by his wife but that’s the real story but the cops supposedly back then seen it

I saw many in the background ! Not a doubt ! A phenomenon that just by happenstance transpired , I am serious , Not a maybe of a not sure , But 100% on having the capability to see consistently these and other cryptic entities , My guess is the thin veil cloaked creatures and entities use to evade by some way I can’t identify I am able to see so consistently from early to what’s recent , Early videos to probably anything I can show on this one electronic devise , This is big , I HAVNT tried to contact anyone but told on 3 -4 different podcasts , I just tell it , If someone who recognizes the significance of this gets it and my sincerity ? No only sometimes ! Always ! Again saw many on this podcast when I paused it .

OK, if he is 50 and saying that it was 1973 he was just born. So I believe he is older or he meant probably with “I am 50 know” he is a 50 plus guy. Otherwise his story doesn’t fit with his age he’s talking about.

Come on ! A barn owl a man in a costume. Do you work for the federal government. I’ve spent more time in the back woods of the Green Mountains and Adirondack mountains for over 50 years and there’s plenty of wildlife I’ve never seen but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. It’s time we put to bed the man in a gorilla suit explanation because it’s much less likely to witness this explanation then to actually see a Bigfoot and whoever is in a gorilla suit in the middle of nowhere might be more dangerous then a Bigfoot.
