Why men don't speak out against circumcision? Ignorance: most have no previous experience of having a foreskin. no understanding of male anatomy, or function/benefit of foreskin for him or his sexuel partners. (don't know what they are missing) Emotionally protective: difficult to accept that those responsible for protecting him from harm are responsible for his permanent and forced alternation. Easier to avoid the fact that they did not choose this and believe it was good for them. "nothing is wrong with me! I'm glad it was done" Socially unacceptable: considered weak for a man to express emotions of pain. disrespectful to question parents for doing what they thought was best. Culturally conditioned to believe it is universally preffered. Fear of backlash: potential social/sexual humiliation" what kind of man complains about his penis". Angel, ridicule and defense from other man and parents who circumcised their sons. Invalidation of his pain because there are "more inportant issues" to focus on.
“In med school, I was able to stand assisting on two mutilations, but the severe terror and excruciating pain [of the baby] and the residents’ flippant and jocular attitudes turned my guts inside out. Since that point, I [have] refused any further circumcision ‘invitations’ to perform or assist.” Maram Hakim, M.D.
the claim that it’s ok to impose it on children because you know a guy who wanted it at 17, is insane. that’s HIS choice and he can live with the consequences. an intact body is a fundamental human right. it’s also a violation of medical ethics and religious freedom. this subject ticks me off so much. adults sexually harming children is abhorrent. that’s it. just stop. if you think you’d cut your son, don’t have children. also, as i said to another comment, the “better at birth” narrative if nonsense because: this is patently false. 1) infants are more vulnerable to infection. 2) infants are more vulnerable to blood loss. 3) there are not the same pain management options for infants. 4) the foreskin is fully fused to the glans and must be torn free before being cut. 5) the penis is far smaller, so there is more guesswork as to where to cut. 6) that open wound is being put in a dirty nappy. 7) the patient CANNOT CONSENT. anyway. gotta go cool off. one day countries will rightfully start to ban this practice and we will look back in horror and disgust at the fact that this was ever considered acceptable.
The 17 year old only wanted it, because it is sadly normalized in the USA. Had he lived in a country where it’s not the norm, he would have no desire for surgery and would love his peen. Abraham Wolbarst should have kept this in his own religious community and should have never forced this on Americans, a once non cutting nation. Hopefully we can go back to being a nation that has it’s boys and men with majority having a foreskin.

“Circumcision is not a medical decision. Preventing an improbable future infection is a spurious indication. The standard of care is antibiotics, not amputation.” Eileen Marie Wayne, M.D.
This wasn’t always the custom of the White American. This is an attack on American heritage, by a group that routinely does this to their own boys for religious reasons. The man who got this cutting craze going, is named Abraham Wolbarst, who practiced a particular religion that mandates this on the 8th day. He did not like that the American medical community objected to circ back in the day, so felt personally attacked because of it, so he started pushing circ as being “beneficial” and called for circ of every single American male, after the American medical community published a paper in the major American journal against the practice of ritual circ.
"It is noteworthy that Americans generally accept male infant circumcision without question, yet the subject of FGM horrifies them. The fact that the two practices are defended with many of the same reasons in our culture and others raises additional doubts about the validity of these reasons and underscores the power of cultural influence on personal beliefs and attitudes." @@EricBarryComedy1 Discusses sex, love, and relationship happiness from a new and surprising perspective: How does surgical alteration of the penis in infancy (circumcision) affect the sexuality of a man when he becomes an adult? How does the circumcised penis affect the sexual pleasure of the woman on the receiving end? And how does sexual pleasure during intercourse-or a deficiency-affect the love bond of the relationship? This landmark book is the first to detail the many sexual functions and benefits of the male foreskin for both the man and his female partner. Presents unequivocal evidence that the foreskin plays a multifaceted role during intercourse that not only promotes increased sexual pleasure, but this enhanced pleasure also serves to enrich and continually re-cement the love bond, borne from sexual union. Circumcision's removal of the foreskin (ultra-erogenous tissue and the penis's only moving part) alters the penis's functioning and diminishes the man's sexual pleasure as well as the woman's. A national survey of women, conducted by the author, reveals that circumcision abnormalizes the way the penis thrusts and feels to a woman, significantly diminishing her sexual enjoyment and her ability to achieve orgasm from intercourse. The book's explanations of the profound negative effects circumcision has on the intercourse experience of both partners will surely leave America stunned. But luckily, there is a bright side to this shocking news: It is now possible to restore the foreskin through various non-surgical techniques. The book addresses this topic and enwraps the emerging movement for foreskin restoration with hope, promise, and dignity. Review from

Like all other parts of our bodies, foreskins evolved during millions of years of human evolution; nature provided them with abundant nerves and blood supply for good reason." "Since this tissue is the principal site of sexual sensation in the normal intact male, circumcised men have lost more capacity for optimal pleasure than they will ever know. The foreskin plays a vital role in foreplay and intercourse, providing a flexible lubricating sheath in which the penis glides smoothly and gently. In its absence intercourse can be traumatic for both partners, particularly those who are older. I'd love to hear your perspective! My channel is a comedy and podcast channel, nothing specific to circumcision, but it is an interesting topic I wanted to engage on.
Nobody is against circ, if it’s for actual medical reasons, which are usually rare. We oppose routine infant cutting culture in the USA, because why do this to babies, when you know other countries aren’t doing it and are not having all these issues American medical professionals claim you will have if you are not cut: It’s done purely based off looks in the USA and is a way for the medical industry in the USA to profit from selling the tissue on Thermo Fisher and many other websites. This tissue from baby boys can be stretched to the size of a football and is used in many anti aging creams for the rich.
I got circumcised as an adult due to problems, I wished I d had it done at birth. If I have a son I'll be having it done for health an prevention of problems
it’s approximately 1 in 15000 who require a therapeutic circ. are you saying it’s acceptable to sexually harm 14999 children to help one? what other healthy parts would you do this to? my mum had a mastectomy for breast cancer. should she have forcibly removed her daughter’s breasts?
The anti-circ movement doesn’t attack circumcised men because they’re circumcised. It’s because they are psychologically in denial of what they are missing, so they project it onto their kids and defend MGM of infants. If you’re cut and fine, that’s you. Don’t claim to represent a larger group of men.
Not fond of YT automatically censoring comments I post. Long story short, you can be fine with being cut without projecting it onto your sons and defending MGM of minors.
I got circumcised at 35 years old. I didn't loose sensitivity in matter of fact sex is more enjoyable. My only regret is that I didn't get it done sooner.
@@EricBarryComedy1 sensation. Able to feel everything inside orally or vaginally. Where before the foreskin was lubrication for the head. It takes longer to have an orgasm. But when it happens it's more explosive.
There are also lots of videos on RUclips of men expressing different views on this. Many call it “a loss” and say self pleasure and intercourse are never the same. I am glad you like your results, but we really should stop normalizing this in the USA and go back to our roots, where this was seen as taboo and not a thing.
this is patently false.
Actually, a paper from Iran, a country that cuts for religious reasons have shown it to be less risky when done on adults. The people pushing the narrative, that it’s “safer on babies” are people who don’t want males to have a say over their own bodies. These same people say infant circ has “so many benefits, that only exist when cut in infancy” but at the same time are campaigning all over Eastern and Southern Africa to cut up all the adult men and young boys and telling them it has “so many benefits to it.” That’s when I know they are full of it and are not consistent. One minute they say cut men are more at risk for HPV, but the next they say uncut men are, then they go back to saying the opposite. It’s junk science with a hidden agenda behind it.
the lifetime risk of infection is identical for cut and intact men. when men get infections it is usually the result of underlying health conditions. how is it cleaner?

"Typically, many circumcised adult males exhibit the Freudian defense mechanism of denial as they seek to shield themselves from the pain and grief of this loss. In the father, we call it the adamant father syndrome because the father adamantly insists that his son be circumcised even in the face of compelling evidence of the injury of circumcision. When the traumatized man is an M.D. or a religious official he is apt to use false medical or religious grounds to try to justify the wounded and less functional state of his own penis. These men will usually advocate universal circumcision. Such men may operate under a compulsion to repeat the trauma."
George Hill
"The mistaken idea that circumcision is a legitimate cure for a urinary tract infection is a medical fad that will soon pass."
"...UTIs are most often caused by internal congenital deformities of the urinary tract. Amputating the foreskin cannot correct these internal deformities."
"If your son gets a UTI, treat him the same as you would your daughter."
What Your Doctor May NOT Tell You About Circumcision by Paul Fleiss and Frederick Hodges
"...the medical literature testifies abundantly to dangers ranging from hemorrhage and infection-both more common than is generally recognized-to such horrors as gangrene and accidental amputation of the glans."
"What number of damaged and dead infants constitutes an acceptable price for an optional procedure of disputable worth?"
Marked in Your Flesh: Circumcision from Ancient Judea to Modern America by Leonard B. Glick
"If the adult foreskin resists retraction because the diameter of the preputial orifice is narrow, this can also be remedied if the man wants it to be remedied."
"...a simple regime of daily manual massage and stretching of the foreskin can greatly increase the diameter of the adult preputial orifice. Penile skin is highly elastic and responsive to stretching. These exercises are simple, free, and effective."
What Your Doctor May NOT Tell You About Circumcision by Paul Fleiss and Frederick Hodges
"The United States applies differential legal standards to ritual female versus male circumcision even in cases when proscribed practices performed on girls (such as clitoral pricking) are less invasive or risky than those performed on boys"
"These disparate standards implicate gender-based, ethnic, and religious discrimination"
FGM and Genital Cutting Across Borders: Cultural Biases in the Contestation of Global Human Rights by Debra L. DeLaet
"The answer is that foreskins are not ordinary skin and they are certainly not extra; they are highly sensitive tissue, the most sensitive part of male genitals. Like all other parts of our bodies, foreskins evolved during millions of years of human evolution; nature provided them with abundant nerves and blood supply for good reason."
"Since this tissue is the principal site of sexual sensation in the normal intact male, circumcised men have lost more capacity for optimal pleasure than they will ever know. The foreskin plays a vital role in foreplay and intercourse, providing a flexible lubricating sheath in which the penis glides smoothly and gently. In its absence intercourse can be traumatic for both partners, particularly those who are older. The most deplorable effect of 'routine' circumcisions is loss of maximal sexual fulfillment for both men and women."
Marked in Your Flesh: Circumcision from Ancient Judea to Modern America by Leonard Glick
"Following the construction of global norms in the UN system which constitute FGM as inherently involving non-Western practices, Western countries codify, interpret, and apply anti-FGM laws in ways that target non-Western practices but exempt Western ones. Anti-FGM laws in Western countries are not based on consistent standards related to the risks, invasiveness, or severity of regulated practices. Nor do these laws apply equitable legal principles related to age or consent. Rather, these laws are culturally based and construct non-Western practices as intrinsically constituting mutilation while exempting Western practices from legal scrutiny."

Do you think you'd be doing any follow-ups or debates? Or hearing from different perspectives like me who had it done when older?
I'd love to hear your perspective! My channel is a comedy and podcast channel, nothing specific to circumcision, but it is an interesting topic I wanted to engage on.
@@EricBarryComedy1 Yeah would be happy to engage on it, I think the anti-circ crowd out the positive voices and debate
Thanks for sharing your experience. Do you mind sharing what the problem was? What are the differences before and after?
The science and stats dont support that view bub. I protected all 3 of my sons 0 problems. They thanked me
Just because it happend to you doesnt mean it should happen to everyone routinely.
it’s approximately 1 in 15000 who require a therapeutic circ. are you saying it’s acceptable to sexually harm 14999 children to help one? what other healthy parts would you do this to? my mum had a mastectomy for breast cancer. should she have forcibly removed her daughter’s breasts?
Refer to the functions of the foreskin. Removing it from an infant is not “preventative medicine”. It’s mutilation.
It's great to hear someone that is not part of the anti-circ movement that tends to attack circumcised men
Yeah, I want to be able to have a civl discussion about it.
What's made it more enjoyable?
@@EricBarryComedy1 sensation. Able to feel everything inside orally or vaginally. Where before the foreskin was lubrication for the head. It takes longer to have an orgasm. But when it happens it's more explosive.
it is impossible to not lose sensation. why did you have it done?
There are also lots of videos on RUclips of men expressing different views on this. Many call it “a loss” and say self pleasure and intercourse are never the same. I am glad you like your results, but we really should stop normalizing this in the USA and go back to our roots, where this was seen as taboo and not a thing.
It's much safer with better results and quicker healing at birth
I know that's true for a lot of surgeries. Was the healing tough?
@@EricBarryComedy1no it’s not. doctors actively avoid doing surgeries on infants as it carries MORE risks.
this is patently false.
False. Babies cannot be properly anaesthetized and it’s medically unnecessary; it’s mutilation.
I've found it much cleaner too, no infections
I thankfully haven't had to deal too much with that
what were you comparing it to in order to figure out if it was any cleaner?
the lifetime risk of infection is identical for cut and intact men. when men get infections it is usually the result of underlying health conditions. how is it cleaner?
Cut is only “cleaner” if you have poor hygiene.
@@nickj6961 cut isn’t cleaner regardless.
It's interesting the sensitivity aspect you brought up, as most guys would rather last longer than be over sensitive
Yeah, as I've gotten older finishing has honestly gotten more difficult, but I know that's not the case for a lot of guys
Intact guys have multiple ejaculatory orgasms
the foreskin sensitivity is different to glans sensitivity. foreskin is for the ride, not the destination.
@@EricBarryComedy1this is common for cut men as the glans continues to desensitize over time.
