If you want to make 8GB then purchase 4GB Ram 4+4=8GB
hi, i have dell vostro 3578 computer too. Ram speed should be 2666 mhz or 2400 mhz?
You can check in task managers or in BIOS
Bro i had 4gb samsung ram in my laptop in slot 1 and i buy crucial ram 8gb(single channel) in slot 2(8+4=12GB). And sometimes the laptop wont boot into os with both ram.after removing crucial ram it boots fine
Use 8GB Ram in first slot and 4GB on second slot it should be of same frequent
Kya main khud se apne laptop ko khol kar uska ram 4gb se 8gb mein change kar sakta hoon ya mujhe apne laptop ko dukan le jakar uska ram change karwana hoga? Kyunki maine kabhi bhi laptops ko khud se kholne ki koshish nahi ki hai to mujhe thoda dar lag raha hai aur mera laptop bhi same video mein dikhaye gaya aapka wala hi hai to mere liye kya karna sahi rahega.

Maine 1 ram 4gb 2133mhz wala aur dusra 8gb 2666mhz wala lagaya hai .filhaal chal raha hai.kya isse koi problem hogi.aur agar mein 4gb wala nikal du toh kya laptop fast chalega?
Frequency should be same otherwise it will restart or blue screen issue will occur. If your model is with 2133mhx then use same frequency Ram.
Bhai I was planning to upgrade from hdd to ssd by replacing the cd drive pls tell how to do it pls.

First check the Ram mhz, it should be same then only you can use it.

Bhaiya, I have a Vostro 3568, 4 GB DDR4 RAM of SK-Hynix. Woh model kafi mehega hai, same technology same capacity k RAM aur sasta hai. Aur mujhe aur ek 4 GB RAM lagwana hai, taki sasta meh 4+4=8 GB ho jaye. Lekin RAM ka kuch specs match karna hai, taki Dual Channel RAM ho... Kya ap is bare me kuch bata sakte hai?
Bhai...mere paas bhi same laptop hai aur bahut slow kaam krte hai..mujhe bhi 4GB ka ek ram stick dusre slot me lgana hai ..mai soch rha hu adata ya crucial ka lene k liye...DDR4 , 4GB, frequency 2400... bt khi non compatibility ka issue naa aaje
@@AlokKumar-mb6dn Pre-installed RAM of SK-Hynix is DDR4 2400 MHz 17-17-17 latency AND 1x16 organization (one side many chips)
But the Crucial RAMs that I'm seeing have like 2x6 or 1x8 organization. SO IF WE INSTALL THAT, DUAL CHANNEL MAY NOT RUN. If you have total 4+4=8 gb single channel (both slots but diff ram specs), ofcourse speed will increase a lot. But, if u put same specs it'll run in dual channel - overall 5% more performance than previous 8gb single channel - but it's ignorable.
Further, you may want a SSD. I don't keep much media files - the 1 TB is useless for me, maybe sell it & get a 120 GB SSD 😆
@@Naxxx.110 ab ye organisation kya hai bhai...module type(DDR4), voltage (1.2 v), frequency (2400) all these parameters are same in rams which is in my laptop(sk hynix) and the one which i am preferring to buy(adata or crucial)...what about u? Which one do u prefer or any other ?? Did u upgrade or not??.. talking about ssd ..i am thinking of first going to increase ram and if then slow problem persists then would think for ssd ..tmne kon sa ssd lgaya hai??
@@AlokKumar-mb6dn Organization matlab RAM ka jo circuit heh - uska front & back side hote hai. Kitne sides meh kitne chips/chip ke andar kitne memory cells heh.
1x 16 - > circuit keh ek side meh chips/memory cells hey x per side 16 memory cells
1x16 is the config of our SkHynix RAM - only that model & a Samsung RAM model has the same organization in the whole world.
You can add other organization too, you'll get more RAM - noticeable speed.
And if you add same organization RAM - you'll ofc get more space & speed, AND will notice a further 5% increased performance.

It has no SSD only HDD installed and 2400mhz DDR 4 Ram.

I call dell support team an agent tell me there is a 2nd slot available in this model plz tell me i want to upgrade an ssd in my system
in this model, motherboard has 2 slots of Ram only, &
1 slot of harddisk but if you want to install SSD you can use caddy.
Your DVD drive will be removed & caddy can be installed and you can install SSD.
Can we install m.2 Ssd on this laptop (Dell vostro 3578) without removing hard disk and CD rom?

It can be Ram issue. Clean Ram with eraser it will work.

Yes but the speed will go down and you will be better of with a ddr4 4gb 2400 making it 8gb dual channel making it faster.

If it is written 8GB Ram then you will get with 8GB Ram. Or
You can contact the seller.
Memory size is different for each configuration. i5 models usually have only 4 gigs but I have an i7 model which has 8 gigs.

In this model there is no slot of m. 2 ssd.

@@laptopdr I found from dell accessories that m2 support , but the speed to same as 2.5 inch sata because m2 also using SATA. So need to go for m2 . Just it save weight of 50 grams 😄

@@kotireddyeda you can't have M.2 SSD because laptop has only one slot which is used by the wifi adaptor. Until you are planning to buy an external wifi dongle.
