Enjoable vid as always Adrian, as for the wheels black would look really cool on the quad but I think the girls should have the final say, after all it is their quad and they need to be happy with the paint job mate.
I know you said you don’t want to do a full quad restoration series of videos but I for one love them-if this video was an hour long and I didn’t have work in the morning I’d watch the hour 😄👍🏼
Yaasss. Was waiting impatiently for this, time to get the tea!!
Well done Adrian, great restoration project, those BigRed's are solid machines
I can see your enjoying do that quad up.. for your girls . I hope they get has much enjoyment out of it has you fixing it.
Very enjoyable video as usual Adrian, you will be taking trade away from the quad boys with all the in depth explaining on how to do the jobs, good man, new youtube channel, I fix you fix, Girls will want silver wheels I think so good luck with that one, looking forward to seeing the end result, stay lucky
Great video Adrian your making a great job on the Big Red 👌
Nice one Adrian, i think Pink wheels are a must and maybe some glitter to finish it off!
that damn light is going to give me a seizure trying to watch this lol
Ya sorry about that, I only did that after it was uploaded. The problem with led lights 🙈
@@IFarmWeFarm must be just those lights or they are close to the FPS your shooting at. I have LED lights in both our shops and never had an issue shooting at 30FPS
Black on the wheels Adrian you’re a man of many talents well done
You have a great set of hands... I'd be terrified to go ripping into any machine with the confidence and knowledge you have. Fair play. I'm looking forward to see the refurbished quad with the silver rims.😉🤣🤣👍
great video this video has helped me as i am going to be putting new brakes in my own quad soon and now i no how to do It and i would paint the rims silver
Loved this Adrian, at least by doing the work you know you have something safe or at least as safe as quads can be. I think the bosses will tell you the colour scheme.😁😁. As you have the steep ground would you consider fabricating and putting a small roll bar on it for extra safety for the kids. We operate on steep ground up here in County Antrim and have lost one quad due to rolling it, it’s easy done.
Ya a roll bar comes up a lot, problem is they really can’t be got. There a company in NZ makes them and I have tried to get one but there just to expensive to ship with the way things are. Best price I found was €1300!! Can’t really make one either as you could get badly injured from the bar itself seeing there’s no seat belt and the changes of getting flung ( possibly under it ) are quite high. But I might come up with something myself as it has got me thinking. 👍
ruclips.net/video/igcK_m2MUW4/видео.html
Yes agreed it’s a bit of a trade off on safety. I’m just speaking from my experience where a bale of hay on the back saved me as it stopped the quad from coming right over on top of me, unfortunately our neighbour also on steep ground was not so fortunate. After those accidents We looked at making a roll bar (as I had no idea you could buy them) and mounting it to the rear frame that holds the rear bale rack. However it would be in the way of everything, may not be such an issue for your girls, but for a quad used daily for farm duties, it’s a pain. The solution in the end was a gator which has the cab, so helps keep the weather out, very useful on the Antrim coast. I’m sure the girls will love it when you get it completed and of equal importance you will enjoy having them help out in the farm and get to spend time with them as you work. Good luck with the refurb and we look forward to the next video on how you are getting on.
Great video bud your a man of many talents keep up the great work and great videos appreciate the time and effort you put into them 👍🏻 and black wheels would look class
Cheers Jay 👍
Great work you have great farm machinery tools for fixing tractors your video great for people saying money making tractors last longer
Yes I’d love to see black rims to make it look different keep up the good work 👍
Of course it will start, I have faith in your magical touch.
Adrian i could listen to you all day my friend you made that look so easy now i will attempt this job on my blaster. I just seen your message on the last video my flywheel broke up inside 👍👍
Hello from Canada. Love when you work the machines.
Great video as always. It'll be a lovely machine. Liking the artistic shots of the wheels coming off 📸
Adrian, enjoy your videos, keep the Hubs silver as original.
Great little video Adrian and you make it look easy a nice transformation there and will be good for along time to come.
Stick with silver rims looks better.
i do think a glossy black with a fair amount of clearcoat would give the quad a bit of a unique look.
Another great video! BLACK gets my vote...
Good to see your doing all the repair's before the girl's start riding the quad Adrian, make it as safe as possible , keep the wheel's silver .
They’ll not be in it till they get a little bigger, it will be doing all the praying this year with the boom. It will be well tested then and hopefully all the little faults worked out of it
Excellent tutorial Adrian. Great chow. Thanks.
Super content Adrian. I think black rims would look great.
That bottom reg on your wall. A trooper and I still see it out on the roads around my area the odd time
Are ya serious! Get a picture of it if you can. That yoke broke my heart 🙈
@@IFarmWeFarm I'll do my best. Havent seen it in a while now but I'm sure it's still going
Coming on well Adrian, Am doing up a old ride on mower and i have painted the wheels black and they are looking ok am just wishing i had them sand blasted instead of a wire brush.
Great video Adrian the girls will love it is the girls going to pick the paint it will look Awesome when it finished 👍☝️🇬🇧🏴
Regarding the colour of the rims Adrian, I suppose that decision should be for the girls to choose. It’s their quad after all 👍🏻
Pink rims for the girls 👌Have a load of repair work to do here in Mayo if you are ever looking for a holiday 🤩
Really enjoying these videos on the Quad, lots of good advice on things to look out for when buying. Hopefully I will be in a position to purchase one down the line 🙏
Adrian you’ll be enjoying this quad as much as your girls
Friels atv is 20 minutes away from us we get our service there and get our parts there great stuff
Our 2016 honda trx 250 came with black rims as standard looks very tidy!
Nice work Adrian, Why not go with half red and half black on the rims make it really unique and might match in with the mud gaurds aswell
Class video again Adrian 👍👍
black rims look good
Hi Adrian I’ve a gamax 430cc quad and she came with black rims and they look class on her
Great work Adrian.
Think stick to silver
Am adrian mabey think about doing the rims black because it will be different and look nice i googled some pictures and they look really nice
Always good when your work is also your hobby that way you’ll never work a day in your life because it’s all enjoyment. 👍
Very true lad 👍
Another great video Adrian, think you may have to ask your girls about paint colour on their quad😀 Great to see boys chilling out, perfect.
Black rims. Brilliant video Adrain
Black rims!! My 250 has black and they do look a treat
Great video I think keep them as the are ... would the much in the difference between that quad and a Honda 450
black rims ,good job on the quad so far u saved a brave bit doing it yourself
You should pick out the seal in new bearings and put proper grease in the stuff they put in them in the factory is pure water
Yes yes yes black rims lad they would look mint, also loving all the vids Adrian, its the highlight of sundays for me🤣👍
Hi Adrian ur one handy man to ave around the place hope ur dad is doing good and at home keep video coming
Just got home on Saturday last, doing well. Thanks Raymond
Great video again, always a pleasure to watch.Black rims would look cool
Throw caution to the wind Adrian and go for black rims - I can't wait for the next instalment of this project and the TE20 project
Getting there, will be a great machine when your done
Brilliant video again Adrian paint the rims black 👌
Very good video you sure are very talented makes it easy you’re daughters are going to be very proud of you and I would think black rims have a great day
Great video and delighted to have a wendsday video
Great content 😊 , did you have to drain oil out when you lifted the front of the bike up.
Yes and petrol Mark
Adrian, you didn't by chance leave the old bearing on the shaft? After dust cap. Before the drum housing ?
No Sam, if you look at the clip of me fitted the dust cap you will see a quick shot if the old bearing I used to tap it in is in my hand. 👍
Great video very interesting project looking forward to next video
Shame you’re not closer to me. I’ve two of these sat doing nowt.
Mighty video Adrian, would love to do up a quad meself. If it was mine the wheels would be going black! Newer Honda's have black wheels standard.
Ya quads, especially the older ones are fairly easy to work on, it’s enjoyable to Barry 👍
Keep her original and paint the wheels silver Adrian it will look very good when she’s done also maybe you should respray the tank and put the stickers back on
Pink rims! Would look great against the red. Personally I would have a different colour for the frame as well, to make that stand out, perhaps lime green and then some orange/yellow somewhere. :)
Original is so original!
Black is something different.Nice video
My first though was shock when u said black rims. But I think they would look very well in black
Fantastic video
Love your videos Adrain I think black would look Wel on the rims keep up the good work 👍
Great video. black rims 😉
Hi Adrian, just a suggestion but have you set the GoPro to Pal 50Hz to try and stop the flickering?
It’s on pal at the minute, but I’ll check the frequency. Be great if that solves it cause i’ve tried everything else. Cheers Dominic 👍
Jayus Adrain, ur a handy man. Where u get the time. Fair play great video again, very interesting 👍.
I don’t look at that as working time really, it’s very enjoyable. I’d normally do these jobs at night after work but ya can’t beat the daylight for filming 👍
Black would be the right Jon but it is up to u and ur girls its there quad I also have 3 quads
Definitely black, great video
Another interesting video Adrian 👍
Big vote for the black rims
I know it wasn't on the either or list but I would fancy copper/gold colour. But whatever it ends up being its going to look 100x better . Stay safe 🏴
Ya the older copper coloured rims on the o 80’s Hondas were very cool
Great video Adrian, very tidy work
I'd go black with the wheels
I've stopped using WD40 for dismantling items like that, AC 90 is 100% better, bolts seem to fall off when used, and it's a lot cheaper. Great video.
We can’t really get much else, I just get it as it’s handy got locally. I also used cans of G7 which is very good, smells like Coka Cola. Even a diesel oil mix in a spray bottle works great
Adrian sweetie.. i'm starting to forget what the cows look like lol
Been working night and day with them so it’s nice to do a few other jobs to break things up. Full video on the calves this Sunday 👍
Top job!
I put black rims on my 420 black rims look nice if there clean if quad is dirty they look terrible so go with grey
Such a great video thanks I think black
Adrian I think your part machine yourself the amount of work you get through, don’t over do it please. Take care
Silver for me plus sliver looks cleaner back very hard to keep clean
I think black looks differant and looks good
Great job Adain, l live not to far from friels of milford in donegal keep up the good work sir kieran.
It must be a big spot as they seem to have a lot of stuff, I had all delivered the next day and at good value too
Adain ,yea great place, nice people to deal with, thanks keep in touch 👍
Different topic Adrian did you see the once a day farmer 🚜 New Zealand, give you a mention the other day he was using his round bale feeder and that Adrian from Ifarm Wefarm had just done a review on a similar model.
Yes I seen that, I do be talking to Andrew about regularly. He runs a great show there
What about springs and shocks? Great video as always Adrian!
They seem all so fare, we’ll know more as we start using it. 👍
Great video Adrian
No messing with that animal of a grinder , makes my Aldi yoke look like a toy!
Ya but Aldi had a seriously good deal good there last year, buy and grinder and a bottle of vodka for €40 🤪🙈
Great video defo glossy black rims
Think i would go white Adrian, great vid, wish i had your patience,,,
Hi I am just wondering if you saw my question on Instagram. I was asking about your gate lach on the double gate and how you made it?
No I didn’t see that one yet, it’s just 3 steel plates welded together to slip down over the 2 gates. It can lift up or slide across. A bolt drill through the gate to stop it going to fare if that makes sense
@@IFarmWeFarm thank you
Hello, go mate black. Cheers from Mexico!!!
Thanks for tuning in mate 👌👍
Black rims on the quad or maybe half black half silver rims for something different
Ya can't beat the adjustable pipe..
Pink hubs black wheels and pink on the carriers
Great video did u paint the drum cover with a brush or spray
No I’ve a little sand blaster that cleaned them first, then primed and sprayed with 2 coats of colour and clear.
Black rims would be nice
Yes black rims 👌
