We are going to try and do a lot more videos of the pits in action, we have floated the idea before of doing rubs and sauces might be something that we deiced to do in the future.
Chris, great video glad to see you in the kitchen explaining your secrets. Don’t give up on us we are still going to buy a pit from you very soon. We had several things that changed our direction and that’s why you have not heard back from you. Keep up the cooking videos and working with your pits hope you sell a ton of them. Roy & Marion
Excellent video! I’m glad to see that you are making more videos demonstrating how to cook on the offsets. I got the call a few days ago that my 20x42 is ready. Waiting anxiously for the shipment tracking info!
Chris, great video, the brisket looks awesome!! I purchased the 24x36 from you, l have had it for a couple of years now, and I love it!! I really like the up grades and how the new ones are being built now. ( wish I could trade mine in for a new ) It’s nice to see you cook on the smokers you build. I’m ready to fire mine up now!! Keep them coming Lonestargrills forever!!!
Thank you so much for creating this video. I have been wondering how the gas assist worked. I would still love to see a start to finish video where you demonstrate how to clean the pit after the cook and reapply oil to protect the interior of the pit and exterior. Thanks for the demonstration and that was mighty fine looking beef!
Thanks I will keep that in mind in the future, we are going to make a effort to do a wider variety of videos not just the pits themselves but using them as well.
lonestargrillz that's awesome news!! I'm saving up for one of your pits and hope to be contacting you next summer for my order! Thanks and I will be rewatching your videos and dreaming until then.
I picked up my 24x36 w/warming oven a couple of week ago. Seasoned it the afternoon it got home, small cook the next day. Next weekend was first big cook, brisket and a pork butt, both turned out phenomenal. Easily comparable to Lockhart, Hard8, any BBQ you can think of, my LSG smoker makes it easy to be a pro! I am just an everyday Schmo, and this is probably the first and last time I will ever post anything on SM; that should be endorsement enough. Chis and company are extraordinarily humble, no hard sell, just want to give you what you want. My advice is try not to wait to get yours, you never know what is going to happen tomorrow, enjoy your family and the time you have with them. Your LSG smoker will be there for a long, long time; you will figure everything else out as you go!
Wow I ordered my New LSG 9 weeks ago and I should have it delivered on Thursday 2-8-19 That is Amazing compared to the wait time for other Pits Thank s You So Much Chris & Amber Goodlander. Thank You Again
Great video. Keep em com'n. Brisket and ribs look awsome. I call them ribs brisket on a stick. I know this is an offset show but goen on 3 years I'm still luv'n my Lone Star insulated verticle cabinet.
I do love this smoker, and am likely going with the 20x42 model. I just have one question @lonestargrillz , why isnt it double flanged like the 24" models? I see people complain about the gasket often on youtube. Legit question, not hating.
The 20'' pits actually have a 1'' flange same as the 24'' pits do but because the way they are designed we are not able to use the metal on metal seal that we don on the 24'' pits hence the reason for a gasket on the door.
I’ve been enjoying your more recent videos of showing what the cookers can do as well. Being able to see food in it really has helped me narrow down the specific smoker I want to save for. I too hope to purchase next summer. Great work and please keep the videos coming.
@@lonestargrillz sorry to bother you again, just saw on your website the charcoal basket for the offset 20x30 how long can it run full with woodchucks? Thanks!
I ordered the large insulated, vertical smoker on the competition cart with the off-road package. That was 6/22/20 man I’ll be waiting for that email or phone call telling me to pick it up, I live in Arizona but we are taking a road trip to pick it up in Texas.
I think i would want the Long Star 20 X 30 in stead of the Yoder Cheyenne smoker. The Long Start 20 X 30 would fit better on my deck than the Yoder Cheyenne. 7-11-19.
amazing stuff. I see you have a lot of good stuff on your channel so I subscribed and getting notifications. nice. I have a few videos I've done. I just started. if you have a chance to take a look and tell me what you think that would awesome!! Thanks again. keep up the great work!!
Dude, you did that brisket so chill like it was no problem and it seriously looked like one of the best briskets I’ve seen in my life. Tons of juice!
Thanks, it wasnt all that hard on the LSG!
Great video, thanks for sharing. Look forward to seeing more.
Really enjoyed the video. I hope this is the start of a cooking video series! It really shows the pit off and how easy it is to use.
I was also thinking you could package and produce that rub you use. It sounds simple but many would love to have Lonestargrillz branded rubs !

Y’all build a hell of a product. Gives me wood every time I see one...

lonestargrillz - Looks awesome! Nice smoker as well. I need to get one of them at some point.
Looks like a mighty fine job... the smoker I bought from you puts out the best food in the neighborhood....😁

That’s a damn nice cooker!😍 wish I lived closer to your shop.

Trying out your rub today. Can't wait until I receive my Lone Star Grillz in a few weeks!!!!!!!!!!
my dream grill right there, one of these days i’ll save enough for one.
Great video! Foods looks awesome, I can’t wait for my 24x48. Keep the videos coming 👍
Great video & awesome looking smoker for sure!
Great job on the brisket and ribs.
Awesome video and awesome cooker! Looks like on the 42inch you could fit 3 full packers front to back just on the bottom rack.

Another cool video Chris!
Great video Chris. Thanks
So do you put these fat side up since its top down cooking? If so, wouldn’t the beef ribs be bone side up?
You guys should do more of these video's using all of your smokers
Thats the plan.
I've been looking around for a good BBQ pit I have to say I really like what I see with these grills now time to save up lol
looks great!!! i already got the mini cabinet, think i need an offset now!!!
ordered the offset!!!!
Perfect.👍🇺🇸
Thanks
Just wish we can get a warming oven on the 20" model.
Awesome I'm looking into getting a 20 x 30 from lsg
Sounds great, please dont hesitate to let us know if you have any questions lonestargrillz@gmail.com
I'm hurt you don't offer this smoker anymore 😔 I was ready to purchase.
@@yosefbenyisrael4081 We do still offer this smoker just not in this 30'' size. 36'' and 42'' are still available
Man... those look great!
Want to see where the heat comes from and exits. Looks completely different design! Offer the off-road package yet???
We have had a lot of people ask about the off road on this model, we may have to make that a option.
Outstanding video 😁👌
Thanks
@ lone star grills. Good God that looks good!
Lone Star Grill"z"
well worth the wait.
Easier said than done. Been over a month now. I'm dying here. Two months to go.
Men!! I live in AZ, where can i get some good wood!! Oak, cherry? I’m debating between one of these or the pee-wee! 😭😭😤😤🌵☀️
Depends whether you want the "set it and forget" convenience of the PeeWee or you like adding the wood every hour or so.
@@lonestargrillz nope, set it and forget! Can't wait to order mine, thanks!
@@lonestargrillz sorry to bother you again, just saw on your website the charcoal basket for the offset 20x30 how long can it run full with woodchucks? Thanks!
@@hectorolmo7995 6-10 hours at 225 with a full load of charcoal and some chunks of wood.
Hector Olmo, mesquite wood is good.
How much is a dash of garlic powder?
Awesome!!

lonestargrillz, looking forward to meeting Chris and the team, we’re very excited.
Got the same package as you about a year ago absolutely love it
Andres Baracaldo, congratulations I bet those ribs and brisket really turned out good.
gene coppedge they are nothing short of amazing every time!

much appreciated!! Thanks again. I'm going to be doing beef ribs this weekend for fathers day!! woohoo
How many logs did you go through?
1-2 "half splits" every 1-2 hours. I took full splits and cut them in half.
I've never been to a bbq joint here in TX & been asked "moist or lean." The heck? 🤔
moist or lean is common question at some places in Texas like Rudy's or Pok-e-Jos...granted they are chains and not the true 'joints'
@@mitchellhibbs6010 I can't recall Rudy's asking that. Then again I haven't been in awhile.
Matt D yeah Rudy’s has 3 options... lean, moist, or cutters choice and they are priced diff. Moist is more $$
@@mitchellhibbs6010 I've never heard them offer "cutters choice" & I've been in San Antonio for 30 years.
