It's funny you all expect this guys to play this game hard, risking injury when there is no motivation to do so. The all star game of recent seems like a party than a rivalry. What exactly are they playing to win for. They have a lot of league games left.
The rest of the players in the league are getting a much needed rest for their legs, and the superstars of the team should play hard? C'mon.
You want them to play hard, you have to give them a reason, cause they are more interested in being NBA champions or getting paid, not winning the all star game
And thats why todays nba is soft and spoiled. No passion for the game, and for what? waiting for the playoffs? @@damilolanwankpele3538 while I agree with you saying that the smart choice would be resting their bodies and avoid injuries in a “pointless” game, and they have no physical incentives to play hard. But I also believe that they should have some kind of moral incentives, like giving the fans that love them so much a valuable game. They know damn well that the fans would want to see the best players in the world going at it seriously. That should be worth their effort. Not saying they should play like a game 7, but at least like a regular season game
