You played a great round of golf and I truly enjoyed it! I am a Marine Veteran and due to my disabilities, I have not been able to play golf for almost 15 years. It's really depressing because of my love for the game, so I watch it on television and people like yourself. Keep pushing!!!
Dude I love how you show every shot and talk in the background I haven’t seen that format before and I love that format I could watch that all day.. it’s a lot of work setting up for every shot but really appreciate that
RUclips recommended me this video; I know nothing about golf and had never heard of long drive contests, let alone Kyle. It was weirdly satisfying to watch. The burst of energy of his swings is amazing.
@@jamesklinski3890 if you actually follow Kyle, you'll know he's a scratch golfer. Not PGA level obviously, but he'll shoot par or below at almost any golf course.
"Next up on the tee in this year's 2020 PGA Championship, all the way from Crofton, Maryland. He is currently the No. 1 ranked World Long Drive Champion in the world, the winner of the Tennessee Big Shots long Drive Competition, and the man with much smaller calves than Phil Mickelson, here is Kyle Berkshire!" Congrats on 30k!
No shit! He's from Crofton Maryland? Wow That's like a half an hour from where I used to live at. I don't think there's a golf course in Maryland that could hold him
It’s great to see a RUclipsr where the guy isn’t going for click bait and obnoxious editing. He spit commentary on the video in one go. I love the simplicity of the videos! Keep them up.
Kyle can you PLEASE play a standard public pay and play course from the middle tees like most of us do every weekend, would be real fun and lots of us would be interested to see how many birdies you could make.
I don't golf, the only reason I came to this video is that I fish for trout and salmon right along the shore in many of the shots in this video. But when I do golf I always think the game would be much more fun if there weren't all those trees, sand, and water.
Kyle, what a wonderful video! My late mom, who recently passed at the age of 91, was an artist who specialized in minimalist landscape paintings and she would've absolutely loved this video. So many of the shots you captured reminded me of her work. If you weren't already my favorite golfing RUclipsr, this one would've done it. Thank you, so much.
AndrewLetit FlowWolf that’s what I was thinking I don’t think I saw this guy hit a single fairway - without caddie I would never find any of his shots - looks like he’s playing cow pasture
Awesome round man! Cool to see you battle it out on the long holes and overall course difficulty. Can't wait to watch the upcoming rounds! Keep up the great work!
Great playing on a brutal course. For a long driver guy your game is actually pretty freaking good. You’re talented beyond belief and like watching. The pure sound of your iron shots is my fav.
I love your mentality where if your not getting beat up a little by the course than you not playing proper golf. In the moment is sucks but then you realize that’s why we play golf.
Hey man, I don't usually comment on golf vlogs, but I really enjoy your content, and watching you has been encouraging me to get out more and improve my play. Congrats on 30k subscribers! Love the "What is up?" at the beginning of each video... keep it up!
Brilliant video. Great to see yourself and the course. Playing right from the tips.+7 in that wind first look. Pretty darn good kyle. Some insane pin positions. So so tough. Shout out to your caddie. Massive help. Overall really enjoyable. Thanks.
Kyle, this is one of your best videos yet. This video clearly shows how golf can be made interesting again. I much prefer this vs the cookie-cutter courses that are being used on the current PGA circuit, the ones that mostly favor a certain style of play.
Great effort Kyle. That is a monster of a course and tremendously difficult. You did an awesome job. Great to watch the video and you play again. Can't wait to watch more
Fun to see you play one of our Wisconsin courses. I agree with you that it is more fun to play a tough course even if your score is higher. 401 yd carry..................unreal!
Hey Kyle, you don’t need to make excuses. 8000 yards into a stiff breeze is no mean feat. A challenge like this sets the men from the boys. Would say your swing held up nicely but a by product of your speed is a high ball flight which unless arrow straight will be exaggerated in the wind. On days like that short game is key, keeps momentum from a good score to a poor score. Great content and wish you every success.
Great round. Played there in the end of May. Kicked my ass. Pace of play was horrible, too expensive, but was an experience I'll always remember. Glad I did it. It was great to see your ball flight using trackman.
Fantastic Kyle. Glad to see u finally changed your putter. Yes playing with a caddy makes a huge difference, especially on such a tough course. Breaking 80 well done. . My guess was wrong, i picked Bethpage Black !! That course is amazing, and very similar to one i have played in Tasmania called Barnbougle Dunes. Cant wait till the next 18hole vlog :)
I played that course in 2002. Grew up nearby and played Blackwolf Run a couple of times before that (another great Dye course). I distinctly remember being in the really tall front bunker on #6 for my 3rd shot, and my caddie said, "try to get out once, and if you can't, hit it out backwards". I JUST missed getting out. It was ridiculous how high that bunker was. I also played from the 2nd easiest tees, and it seemed insane to me just how far and how hard it would be from the pro tees. The 18th hole has the best look of any hole I've seen. Good video, was fun watching you play.
I also caddy here, love the video cool to see someone give Whistling Straits the credit it deserves. Shout out to Alex, well done man. That bomb on 15 tho 👀👀
New subscriber here. Dude you do a great job on your RUclips videos. Shot well, interesting focused commentary, and you adjust the audio when needed. Even though you hit it miles ahead of us regulars, we could learn a lot from your course management, mental game, and attitude. Keep it up!
i live 10 minutes away from whistling and my high school team practices here during our season and it’s so amazing every time i walk up to the practice green
I’m binge watching every video! After watching your attack with the driver, being a big armed wife shouldered person, it just made sense to me! Went down to Indio Canyon, played Eagle Falls, came out with a 75. Keep the videos coming! I have a few guys on the military base I work at interested and watching too. I’m a Buckeye in California, and any damage you can due to a FICHIGAN course or the nasty soil, puts you high on my watch list!
Great round Kyle! In that wind, at 8000, with those pins...keep working man, your game is greatly improving. Maybe take that caddie with you everywhere as well, he def helped you on the putting greens with reading them...congrats on hitting 30k subscribers as well
Broke 80 at Whistling Straits. From the tippy tips, with Michigan blowing in your face half the loop. That's excellent. Also, the 2i is impressive on its own... don't need to apologize for it!
Don’t worry about using the driver for our entertainment, at least I’m not worried about it. I enjoy watching you hit a 2 iron just as much, it sounds like a missile when you hit the ball with your lower irons. Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy watching you hit your driver, but I want to see you be just as dangerous with every club in your bag. Great job and looking forward to more
I just watched a documentary on Pete Dye and his golf courses, your right he doesn’t mess around in his designs. I would really like to play one of his courses at least one time in my life.
Super course! Insane from the tips and huge wind! They created Scotland/Ireland in the flatlands of Wisconsin along side Lake Michigan. This was awesome!!
Wow those are mean looking par 3’s, great job playing from tips!!! That was impressive having a caddie for the approach shots and putting certainty instilled confidence! Thanks for the trackman work and dragging it around! Looking forward to your next video!
Geez that wind and course was brutal. Nice round, it's impressive that you kept it together because most golfers would just lose focus and throw the round. Great round for the conditions.
Just finished watching there. I think your putting from distance was what kept the round in check throughout. I can't wait to see the Ryder Cup here in a few months. Will play your video hole by hole to get a good understanding of what I'm seeing
I have been at all the PGA events at Whistling and yes that is the Sunday pin at #12, only saw 2 birdies in 2004 all day and 1 was a chip in from that bunker on the lake side below the hole. Where you putted from was a popular spot that day. Great video from a great course in Wisconsin.
Love watching you play been going through so many course vlogs, you hit a driver further than i often take 2 or 3 shots haha. Keep it up man the progression is unreal over the last year
Caddy: You got 240yds
Kyle: Sauce me that 9iron
😂😂🤣
So true though

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hilarious
This really shows how good pga golfers really are
Yeah this really does show how really good they really are, really!
He's not a pro yet, is he?
@@atulshastry1 no, he's played some qualifiers but not much has come of those from what I understand.
@@atulshastry1 no he’s not. He doesn’t want to be on the tour yet. A lot of things to work on
Especially because Kyle is a really solid golfer and with his length/speed i truly believe he could compete in the PGA.

130k and climbing rapidly.. "400 yard drive makes this hole a whole lot easier". Yep, I reckon it might. Class act.
RUclips recommended me this video; I know nothing about golf and had never heard of long drive contests, let alone Kyle. It was weirdly satisfying to watch. The burst of energy of his swings is amazing.
"So this is 240 yards, I took a 9 iron."
I love how casually he says that. Hitting a 9 iron as far as most amateurs hit their drivers.
Doesn't matter how far u can hit a club if u cant hit the green. Or the fairway

Would have loved to see the caddies reaction to your 400 yard drive!
I thought I heard him say "Damn!"
Thefoyer13 - went back and rewatched the drive with the sound cranked and I believe you are correct!! 🤣. The comment is at 17:50.

Nice seeing you get your RUclips Groove on.
Something about “mrshortgame golf” commenting on this dude’s channel is comical to me
The humility you show during this round is definitely a huge lesson for me great to see that you accept the difficulty and play through
A 79 on this course at 7900 yards with that wind, god dam man. You are the goat.

Congrats on hitting 1 million views! I would love to see these type of videos come back. The Vlog styles are fun when you're playing with others.
I really MISS when Kyle put his Stats up on the Screen as he hits the Ball. I know it's time-consuming but I love it.
“Playing hard golf is more fun than playing easy golf”
Me: There’s easy golf!!?
Its pretty damn easy hitting second shot from 8 feet lol
