In one breath you talk about wanting peace in Bawku and on the other breath you are fixated with a so called mamprugu kingdom that engulfs other ethnicities. How do you reconcile these two ? If you are indeed for peace , you accept that ethnic power dynamics in Africa and Ghana for that matter has changed and no one ethnic group can laud it over another ethnic group in the name of kingdom. That is the genesis of the crises in Bawku. The fact that Na Yiri and men like you who surround him refuse to point out to him and mamprusis in Bawku that in this new ethnic order it will be impossible to make a mamprusi man the chief of Bawku without destabilising the peace of the entire northern parts is at the root of this problem. The hypocrisy of suggesting that mamprugu wants peace yet in another breath say that Kusaug(all land in kusasi hands ) doesn’t belong to kusasi but to the Na Yiri can not be seen in my opinion as coming from someone who honestly wants peace . Lets face it , there is nothing mamprugu can do about Bawku. As disgruntled as the entire mamprugu is , there is nothing you can do about it . To skirt around the idea of supporting Bawku mamprusi is a non starter. Truth be told , what you call mamprugu is no larger than what we call kusaug and let no one think he can match down from nalerigu or gambaga and not face resistance. In the final outcome , mamprugu will not be governable and kusaug will not be either . So just chill in your corner and watch us chill in our corner because nothing will change in Bawku .
