  • In the early stages of her career, Terri Nunn found herself joining the unique and groundbreaking band, Berlin. The band's sound was innovative at the time, incorporating synthesisers in a way that hadn't been heard before in America. This innovation caught the attention of MTV in 1982, providing Berlin with a larger platform to showcase their music and garnering more significant attention. The success of the band was undoubtedly influenced by Terri's captivating presence in their videos, drawing in fans and solidifying Berlin's prominence in the music scene. During her conversation with me Terri delves into her experiences joining Berlin and how opportunity and passion intertwined. Grateful for the chance to be part of such a revolutionary musical project, Terri discusses auditioning for John Crawford under false pretences and the importance of following one's dreams to overcome challenges and explore new opportunities.
I wanted music so much, it scared me. - Terri Nunn

The first time I saw Terri Nunn was in the movie Thank God it's Friday. Then I saw her on MTV in the 80's singing Metro. I have been a fan ever since.

Brilliant interview, Sandy. Thank you very much!
Terri ... beautiful woman, person, singer, performer, and composer. It was 1983 when I first got to experience Berlin who performed on the same bill as The Fixx and The Thompson Twins at the Hollywood Park Racetrack with the headliner The Police during their Syncrhonicity tour -- the BEST 1980s concert ever! Berlin's music and Terri's singing were just insanely great and their incredible sound, energy and chemistry were in abundance. I hope to catch them in concert again one day. It's a show you should never miss.

She stands out in many ways, but for me it's her courage in being approachable. You get the sense you could just talk about life, not just the music or the interview talking points.

I don't think the movie Thank God It's Friday was terrible. 9:30 In fact I liked it, it was funny & had good music. One of Debra Winger's earlier movies.

The interviewer doesn’t know that the 80’s and 90’s are different decades and that Berlin did nothing in the 90’s (except 1 album) uh hello. 🙄🤣

Horrible interviewer. Called her Terri Dunn three times. It is Terri Nunn.
Also stated in 2011 INXS was in their heyday. 😂
