I didn't even know this was a Miley Cyrus song. I was watching the clip and my tween daughter shouted from the other room "WHY ARE YOU LISTENING TO MILEY CYRUS??" RJ can take ANYTHING and make it sound incredible.
At its core, it's a good song. Very well crafted with a beautiful melody. I think RJ toured with Miley Cyrus too. I imagine it would have been pretty cool to see this version live. Edit: I was wrong. RJ did not tour with Cyrus. But he probably should have. That would have been awesome.
Miley should let you rearrange the song and re-record it with you just like this. Just you and her. I think it would sound awesome. She really does have a good voice and with your arrangement it would break hearts.

I “kinda” was able to get this from ear from your dreamy playing professor Ronquillo! I said kinda as I did that with a non baritone so some improvising was necessary (and every time I come here I found some necessary adjustment). Thank again and still for this demos on the airlines \m/
After listening to this song i bought a baritone and love it. However this particular Eastwood guitar goes totally out of tune after one song. I bought this one initially and it was big mistake. I sold snd bought the prs soap bar semi hollow. it does the job and sounds great. I'm learning this tune by watching the video. Be great if this video could be followed up with a lesson for this song version!!
@@TomPeck76 Very poor tuners i would say. All in all I would say it was a very poor quality instrument. I've since bought the prs baritone soapbar model, which is really good i think
Pro Tip: You can tell your friend this arrangement is actually easier (and just about as beautiful) when played on a regular guitar in standard tuning where the occasional open string comes in handy ;-)
Thanks for the tip, BUT: ShiceSquad has no less than FIVE Sidejacks at its disposal in various configurations and tunings, plus an Eastwood Bass VI. We are waiting for Eastwood to come out with more baritones for us to use in our band. And single-coils are a prerequisite for the ShiceSquad sound.

What was making it go out of tune? The Bigsby? Neck warpage? Just curious.
