International McDonald's menu items are WIIIIILD. I heard they can't switch up the American McDonald's menu too much/quickly because it's such a massive market that it can create supply shortages. But the oversees McDonald's are smaller markets that can do some funkier things. Like deep fried corn pies!!!
I mean those overseas mcdonalds just use local producers for those specific products obviously, also mcdonalds doesn't have crazy items everywhere, just a couple of countries honestly. Most countries have boring mcdonalds menus, Asia seems to have the more wild stuff

Our burger here is called Burger Nasi Lemak which translates to a coconut milk cooked rice with spicy anchovy gravy but in burger form except there are no rice on the burger. Just the flavoring with some of our local ingredients.

Once you taste all the other regional dishes from the North East, the North and the South, you'll realise that nothing you eat at home will compare to the flavours there. I like Jungle Curry, Massaman, Kwuy Deaw, Kao Pad Gai, etc etc. Always ask for "ped mak" and eat it spicy like the Thais do. Tip - don't eat from tourist restaurants. Eat from backstreet Thai places with plastic chairs that look run down, or street vendors. You won't get food poisoning, it's perfectly safe and the food is better, and a lot cheaper. I go to Thailand many times per year and I only eat Thai food when I'm there. It is incredible.

That pie was fried like McDonald's in the states used to do their apple and cherry pies...they bake them now....when I was young we would order a Carmel sundae and a fried apple pie, and shove that hot apple pie in the Carmel sundae...was amazing...I don't eat too many sweets anymore but I sure do remember how good that concoction was ..lol ✌️

You should try the Samurai Pork Burger (Pork Burger with teriyaki sauce), a signature Thai McDonald's. It's been on the menu since mid 90s
