Can you stop recommending starters that involve Trinity or some weird mechanics in... Just had to explain for 2 hours to a guy how trinity works and what he should do to make it work... On a corpse explosion... Or detonate dead whatever it's called... Give them the clasic builds and add as an option for when they understand their build, options to upgrade... Don't make them start with trinity if they do only 1 tipe of damage please!!
I really appreciate this series as a new player of around 1 week. I didn't know about the linked gem highlighting or the resist decay. I am finding the gear to be incredibly frustrating, especially when trying to follow a build and I can't get the sockets, links, or colors to fit the necessary gems even after spending my limited resources trying to adjust the gear.
“Lab is like medium core in soft core” I’m so glad I ran a ES focused witch build the first character I ever played, because I was so shit at avoiding traps. The first two labs I took damage from pretty much every trap but I never took life damage. My second character I actually had to try and I think I died and reset on the third lab.
Traps are actually the most dangerous against life/ES hibrid builds é cause the damage of traps is dealt based on your hp + es and you get fucked especially if you are low life and take 40% more dmg
It reminds me of my first build: cast speed stacking magma orb with basically just uniques. Somehow managed to reach lvl86 with that thing. I had no experience with games like that and didn't follow any tutorial. It was absolute garbage but somehow worked.
One thing im never Sure when i start a new League during Lvling especially in Act5.6,7: Do i look for an item with the right Gemslots and roll it to rare with essences (easy to acquire), so i can use the Skills with more support - or do i look for good rares and try to roll the gemslots on them - which can be very unlucky. Im still not sure whats the best way during the mid-late Campaign.
Can you please do a video for this series that goes over all of the past league content that was added to core? Like heist, ritual, synthesis, etc? As a player who stopped playing for a year+ (or a new player), I have no idea how some of them work.
It's a special item that mostly cant be modified. They all do something special that isnt possible with anything else, but often the special thing isnt very useful. Sometimes they are very very powerful in the right circumstances..
About the inventory space you can hold onto as many as you can as long as you have stash space…. You can buy a “unique” stash tab and that’ll hold one copy of every unique…. But u can places second copy it on any other stash tab and so forth. For example I had a shit ton of humility cards and got like 4 tabula rasas…. It’s a leveling unique chest piece that has 6 white sockets and it is 6 linked…. Which I then traded them on the market for some currency.
i have a question on "Attack gems". Where do i have to look for the "Base damage on weapons" and how does this work when i have 2 weapons or a weapon and a shield?
If you're wielding 2 weapons, most attack skill gems will alternate which weapon attacks (one such exception is the dual strike skill gem. The gem description will tell you if its an exception). Dual wielding also gives you a hidden attack speed and block buff. Attributes that don't affect the weapons' local damage will stack together like any other item (for example increased spell damage is a global modifier, so the increased spell damage from 2 wands just adds together). Knowing which attributes are local vs global is a whole other topic that you'll have to read up.
Also if your ever unsure if a support gem will work on your main attack gem and others if you hover over the gem a pop up window shows up that has a list of gem that it’ll support shown with a check mark or if it doesn’t support it it’ll mark it with an x
@@XCygnusX already played for 1500 hours, sure let me just play another 2000 hours just to be able to get to the actual games content 4 hours sooner..yawn. over it. poe is a perfect example of 'feature creep'

yeah lab is easily the worst most unfun part of the game. and to think they reworked it.

when at the start you talked about the hours of play, i can agree, i have over 2k hours and my own made builds are very mediocre/bad
