So some of this comes down to the reputation of the builder. Most builders if quality should be within 1-3 twist to get sync or timing correct (remember these are two diffferent things). I generally max my bow out tune my bow write down my specs( actual draw length measured, peep height, poundage, ATA, and Brace height) then when placing on the new set I match my previous tune. Most companies are +/- 1/4” when it comes to factory spec. My nock 30 is 29.75” but i like the tune and the draw length i wasn’t changing it to get more
That's why good string builders like juggernaut custom bow strings builds according to actual diameter and not the number of strands depending on color and such.
I don’t know if you have covered this before but a good video would be on how to correct out of spec bows. Which group do you add or take twists from to adjust A to A and brace height.
I take most of my Mathews bows out of spec by ether twisting the cables to get a few more pounds and I have my string maker make the string and cabels just a little short so I dont have to do as many twists in the cables. I do this on all my hunting bows but not on my 3D rig and they all shoot lights out or the best I can shoot them..
Just received my bow back from the manufacturer, I now have new set of string and cables, limbs, cams and cam axels. How many shots you think it will take to break in the string and cable? You know, roughly. Right now the bow is maxed out at 65# and my DL is 28”. Thank you.
I replaced the worn-out kams with kams from another bow here, that was trash New bowstring sizes were required, the stretch increased from 31 to 33 inches, the pound decreased from 60 to 40 pounds As a result, I did 50 pounds in one way, and the stretching there is regulated within large limits. You may ask if I like this bow- I like to shoot it, but I don't.
I've been looking through all of your videos. I thought you said in a video previously that you shoot cock vane down on a drop away is this correct? Everything online says cock vane up, your the goat so I'll ride with tour recommendations
Loving all this content you’ve been putting out.

This is one reason I like all black string and cables.

Thank you for your insights
Thanks coach.
John, are you running aftermarket strings? If so which ones?

Great video. When you say "close", how close? An eighth of an inch? A quarter of an inch?
