Not everyone understands techno music and I am glad that techno is not mainstream. It is very unique, only true fans can understand the structure, the flow and vibe of that music and if you are mainstream EDM fan, techno music will sound constant pumping beat. I was the luckiest person to meet Richie Hawtin, and his show was incredible

BY FAR one of the best sets of techno music ever produced. It would take me time to adjust to normal life after 2 hours of this.
Esto es magia comparado con la basura que nos meten hasta en comerciales de celulares como Tiesto, Avicci, Armin, etc. Este es el claro ejemplo de la escena underground y buen gusto en cuanto a la musica electronica, para los conocedores saben a lo que me refiero, ya basta de musica comercial y comencemos a apreciar a los verdaderos djs como Richie que realmente es un artista.
Es mejor que tú te reserves la buena música para ti , créeme que los que no están dentro del underground lo encontrarán repetitivo y ruidoso, necesitas entrenar el oído ! Ah por cierto yo soy 100% fan del techno minimal mas oscuro
No existen malos ni buenos Djs. Para los músicos orgánicos, los Djs de música electrónica les parece una tontería por "solo mezclar o producir con una computadora"
Son diferentes generos musicales, no se puede comparar el EDM con el TECHNO, son cosas totalmente distintas, para publicos distintos, para ambientes distintos y con fines distintos, en todos los generos vas a encontrar aunque sea un track que te lleve al extasis 😎Disfrutemos de la MUSICA

I was there and Richie Hawtin was incredible. Forget about the mainstream EDM shit. That is quarantained @ Mainstage. I always go there once to take a pic of the stage because it is impressive, unlike the music they're playing there. The real good dj's are @ the other stages. I see people on this forum nagging about selfie-sticks or colors ... well, I thought it was all about the music, wasn't it? I guess they have never been to Tomorrowland. I've been there 7 or 8 times and every time it feels like coming home. The music, the setting ... this is top entertainment & experience

The fireworks buildup and drop starting @ around 19:00 is one of the best things I've ever seen on a dance floor.

Bro, the man adds drops whenever he feels it, he just turned the bass down on the drop you refer to. He has many custom drops. Using flangers, cranking the delay to max wetness, etc. that’s what’s great about his mixes, there’s dozens of surprise drops all the time, and it always works- it never feels forced. His mixes make me just shake my head-dumbfounded-and slowly say to myself softly “GOD DAMN” or “Jesus...”
His mixing produces the best. It’s unreal. Lol, cheers mate.

And don't forget the DJ's who get off on remixing radio-nonsense every 5 minutes so they connect with the crowd. True "Underground Dance Music" could guide you somewhere by never retreading the ground you travelled to get there. Ritchie is a living legend, and thankfully, most of his talented peers are still around. Somebody get me a working TARDIS. I wanna' go back at least 2 decades. . .

Excellent beat, tech minimal, low electro. Avec se vidéo l`on peu observer à l`oeuvre. Manipulant à merveille Push(Ableton) et ses contrôleurs(Traktor).
Sa fait longtemps que je n`avais entendu un set de Mr. Hawtin un peu plus rapide et au sonorités beaucoup plus Tech avec de grosses basses. Et se, avec ses effects à la Hawtin.

I remember when Richie Hawtin were playing these minimal techno sets around the time he is playing this set in this video, I was always like what the hell is this shit.. Richie aint playing like his old way of playing... now I cant get enough of these sets as time goes by... I wish I could of experienced this in person :( but I do enjoy it now :) very similar to his mix with dubfire at space izbiza :D such a banging flow of techno !!

Ni un 5% de la audiencia sabrá ahí que el cabrón está creando los loops de la música en vivo en full concentración, por eso no interectua con la gente. No es el típico DJ que pone un CD pre-grabado o quita un disco para mezclar el otro en el mismo orden que lo ha hecho los últimos 10 toques de la gira, eso lo hace cualquier adolescente con una semana de práctica.
