- 100% accurate =) I figured out how to extract the MIDI directly from the ROM itself & drop it into FL Studio so I can see all the correct notes. I am a HUGE Splatterhouse fan!! Been a fan since I was about 4 or 5 xD

At least the series felt like a game compare to other crappy horror "games" where there's only jumpscare that makes those "games" going for it, the rest are bore fest , splatterhouse on the other hand actually feels like a game, and a good one at that.

This is rad as hell! I've been slowly working on remaking some of the music from all three games in an 80's horror synth style and now I'm definitely going to have to add some guitar solos in there, great job!

i have a question,what program did you use to extract the audio file and turn it into Midi?
Because i want some songs from this game and see the chords,but internet doesn't have nothing of it,so i thought the best would be to learn how to extract it...is it hardcore to do that?
Thanks friend!! It's not really difficult. I used the emulator Gens to play the game. In Gens, there is an option called "start GYM dump" after selecting that, I went to the options menu & listened to the song in it's entirety.
Once you have the GYM file, use vgm2mid to convert the GYM to MIDI. Then just simply drag n' drop into FL Studio & re-align the notes. Also delete some of the weird out of place sounds that it brings. Then annoying part is re-aligning all the notes to make a song, but if you're just using it to learn it should be no real problem.
Everything goes fine until where i have to convert it from Gym to Midi...i can't make vgm2mid work :,v..how do i do?
What do you mean exactly?
Do i have to drag the Gym file over the vgm2midi executable? that's what i read and it doesn't work :p
Oh, I think you need to open vgm2mid go to File>Add, then File>Convert. That's it!

Spyder1246 Nice man thanks for the instructions ; does it split the midi into seperate tracks or is it all jumbled ? I once tried to import splatter midi into GuitarPro5 , and all instruments were on one staff , impossible to read or seperate. Same on my DAW Sonar X3

When you import into FL Studio, it prompts you the option to split into separate tracks. You can then remove all but one track, save it as MIDI, then put that into Guitar Pro. I've done that myself =)
The only downside is you will need to extract one track at a time, but it works.
