I learned today that you don't just cut a template - you also fit and mount it for best results.
Here it is I thought this was my idea. I was in the process of making my own when I saw this video. I don't understand why people will spend from $179 to $600 for a piece of plastic then brag about how great they look. Just for a little pizzazz I added some red car door molding around the edges. Really made them stand out!
lol great minds think alike... thanks for watching!
I've got a plastic drum that I'm going to try to make some out of...
I live in Utah also, post a pic if you can.
@@davem3945 Guess I'm not savvy enough to attach a photo, I tried. What part of Utah do you live in?
Hey I liked your video and made the same ones. Saved $$$. Thank you. Also I know you must be in central FL. Me too. I have a place at River Ranch saw you went there in other video. Got my KRX 3weeks ago and looking for people to ride with.
Awesome! Yes I’m in central Florida. I don’t have property in River ranch just got in on a guest weekend but I am thinking about getting an access deed in the next couple months. I’m down to ride! Hit me up on FB
great video man thank you i have a 900 xp and it sure needs them
Thanks for watching!
Great video, love your sence of humor 😆
Thank you! And thanks for watching!!
I bought the husky fender flares off eBay and I am doing this today. Only difference is they’re already cut to 6.5” so I just have to cut length and mark holes for tabs. Thanks
I’d try to get as much of that 6.5” out there as possible. the width of mine are almost perfect for stock tires but I wouldn’t want to have it much narrower. Good luck and thanks for watching!!
Turned out awesome !
Thanks!!
Nice job!
Thanks! They were fun to make
Really nice video thanks .
Thank you for watching!
The only thing I miss was , the thickness of the plastic, did you go 1/8 ,3/16 ?
@@albertoalvarado2539 good question! I put Amazon links in the description of the video that shows exactly what I used in this video to make it easy to find. But to to answer your question it is 1/8”.
Thanks , buddy
Do you sell these pre-cut? Also could you make then a tad but wider? I'm running 35's with offset wheels so they definitely stick out and sling some mud lol. Great video!!
Yes I do sell them pre-cut. I can probably make them a little wider as well. Message me on FB or email me RebelsOffroad4x4s@gmail.com and we’ll get you squared away
Nice👍
Looks great will you sell them? Nice 👍
Thanks! Yes I do sell them. Email me @ Rebelsoffroad4x4s@gmail.com or join the FB group and message me on there. will get you squared away

Hey partner! Great video. Got about 1000km on my 21 KRX, and I'm tired of mud. Living in Alberta(muddy), from Montana(dry), and we get some crazy thick muskeg up here. Just curious, how are the flares holding up? Do you think they'd be damaged with really heavy mud and do you think a thicker ABS material(maybe 3/16" ) would help if so? Thanks in advance!
Thank you! My flares are holding up great. Have ripped a couple pushpins out from rubbing trees but they haven’t had any problem with mud here in FL. I think the 1/8” is perfect honestly wouldn’t go any thicker. They are pretty rigid but provide what I think Is just enough flex to not get torn off every time you rub Something. The pushpins will rip out/break before the flare is damaged anyways
@@rebelsoffroad No need to reply to this but, just wanna say thank you for such a great response. Cheers!!
What do you call heavy mud. Riding in the mountains of Utah with the spring thaw going on is bad. After hosing
down my KRX for 15 minutes then taking a guarden trowel to scrape the mud from under my flares. I would say THEY WILL HOLD UP!!
👍
Did one sheet do both front and back ?
Yes It did!
How did u find your push pin holes so easy
Just kinda have to eyeball it and then use the center punch. It will kinda self center in the hole as long as you hit some of the hole. Also that’s what she said
How can I get a set
Message me on fb rebelsoffroad official or email me rebelsoffroad4x4s@gmail I’ll get you set up
How much for a set? Lol
140 plus shipping for front and rear with pushpins and a couple stickers
