Every musician has their good and bad days. This was one of Chester's good days. Those saying "his voice got worse" need to realise that even Chester cannot be perfect every single time, he is a human like us!
Also some songs you see live on youtube may actually be very far into the set. By the time that sinks in his voice may tire out for the night. Listen to him singing Heavy and Battle Symphony and he sounds as good as ever!

I'm very surprised that Chester Bennington's voice has sounded so good for so long. It's usually around this time that voices start to degrade noticeably. Granted its not the exact same when he was in his 20's but he can still growl and scream and all this stuff. It's refreshing to see a band about to go "old" and still sound very excellent.

Chester is still absolutely, incredibly, and without a doubt, amazing. However, you can tell that after all this years of rocking out, his screams are alot less softer and shorter. Singing/screaming for years, along with age, will do that unfortunately. Still awesome though! LP for life

На фото и видео он такой счастливый, улыбается, смеётся... не верилось, что за этим счастливым лицом он скрывал боль и депрессию. Он пытался простить о помощи (перед смертью), но его никто не понял. Так больно осознавать, что его больше нет с нами...
И да, послушайте. Говорю для тех типов, кто говорит типа: "Так делают только слабые люди". "Суицидники всегда попадают в ад". "Он теперь горит в аду".
Вы обращаете внимание только на это да? А то что он спас миллионы жизней, это вас не волнует, да? Мне кажется, что такому человеку, как Честер, место в раю. Он был очень хорошим человеком. Да, он покончил с собой. Да, он решился на такой шаг. Но поймите, что мы ничего не знаем, где он, как он. Мы можем лишь помнить о нём, слушать его песни, видеть его фотографии и видео. Лучше не страдать всю жизнь из-за него, а просто отпустить его. Я конечно понимаю, что это очень трудно, но надо, чтобы не мучить его душу. Мне кажется, что ему там лучше и я верю в это.

It's easy to tell when Chester's just saving up for the screams and when he's really going all out, because he's wobbly on some notes in the fairly easy first verse but makes a nearly flawless transition from scream to high note at 2:57.... I'm just glad he can scream live again. :`D
